Chapter 5: C5: Dead?

Looking over the edge, he slowly waddled forwards. Taking a deep breath, he jumped off the cliff.
He slowly plummeted towards the Sharp rocks while flapping his wings according to the knowledge he has.

Slowly falling towards the sea, he was waving his wings, but no matter how much he flapped his little bird wings he couldn't fly, even with the knowledge of flight provided by Ava and the innate gift from 'Seagull body' he still couldn't fly.
As he was falling, he was screaming in his mind at Ava, desperately trying to find hope in a situation that seemed to get worse.
'Why aren't I flying!?'
(That Host, is because you decided to buy a really important skill right before you jumped off a cliff and thought even without any training a human turned bird could instantly fly.)
'Do something to help me!!'

He stopped flailing his wings like a madman, to bring them to the sides of him long enough that he was able to slow down his descent a little bit.
'Done! now what?'

He gradually started to drop slower, In his opinion, it was a good thing, Sadly he was too focused on what to do next to see he started to get further away from the cliff and further out to sea.
'Great, now what Ava?'

Trying to flap his wings to fly again, he raised into the air for a few seconds before dropping back down to where he just was, he raised a bit, then fell back down, raised and fell, over and over again, continuing to get further from the cliff and higher into the sky.
He was too focused on learning to fly, and the feeling that came with it, to notice the island he has called home for the past four months, disappear into the distance, leaving sea and waves as far as the eye could see.
Having learned to fly, he further became engrossed in the feeling, becoming confident in his ability he started doing twists and turns in the air, even doing a few loops while chirping like a madman.
'Ava! I've done it, I'm flying! hahahahah look at me go!!'

You, silly baby seagull, decided to get too hooked on flying and totally forgot to keep track of where you were going, so look for some land and survive.

Feeling a little embarrassed, he turned towards the direction and started to fly, however, this time he thought it would be better to conserve energy, so he limited the tricks to one to two every so often.

'Ava, how long have I been flying for, it feels like years, I can't see any land in sight.'
(It has been 7 hours 24 minutes and 56 seconds)
'It's so boring flying around and doing nothing! Isn't there something I can do?'

'How do I level it up?'

'I guess I've got nothing better to do.'
While still flying through the air, he activated his mind palace skill and entered a blank white space, In this space, he had a human form with arms, legs, and all, but instead of any features, he was pure red without any clothing on.
'It's been a few months since I've had a human form, and it already feels weird.'
Slowly adjusting to his form again, he took a look around the space he was in, he was surprised to find a Desk covered in paper and books floating around him, moving towards it to take a closer look he found the books where all his vivid memories.
Most of his memories consisted of from when he was born as a seagull until now, and a few anime and manga that he had seen in the past, the pieces of paper he saw seemed to be his latent memories as they were blurred or unfinished, these to his dismay held the faces of his former self and those around him.
Wanting to preserve his memory more he tried to organize them into categories, 'before reincarnation', and 'after reincarnation', they were then further divided into subcategories of 'anime/manga', 'social life', 'skills', 'school/work', 'important' and a secret hidden space for 'embarrassing moments'.

Happy about his progress, he decided to take a rest, so he started looking around for something to sit on, sadly it seems only the desk and books were premade.
'How do I build things.'

Having an idea of what he wanted to make, he started to picture its color, shape, and size in as much detail as possible.
Appearing in front of him was a bed frame and a mattress with pillows and a duvet cover.
However, looking at this bed, he could see how low quality and shoddy it was, It looked like a toddler had drawn in on paint and used the bucket tool to colour it.
Deciding he could make a better one, he started to think of a bed again, imagining it in more detail, like the materials, the joints, and any small details he thought might work, sadly for him it still appeared to be low in quality.
This went on for some time. Thinking of an item to make, looking over the item for any flaws, and then re-making the item.
When he had an item with a quality that satisfied him, he would move it to one side then make a whole new item, the more items he made the less time the others would take to make.
And finally, after a few hours, he had a Whole bedroom built, a comfy blue bed covered in a fluffy white duvet, wood carved draws, and dressers on either side with lamps and miscellaneous items on top, his desk was at the end of his bed still covered in the paper and books.
Having sorted out the items for the bedroom, he was about to start building the room itself imagining the floor and carpet in vivid detail when Ava interrupted him causing it to turn out as a grey blob on the ground.
(Host! It would seem you are In mortal danger!)
'What! What's going on?!'
Leaving his mind palace, the first thing he noticed was the howling winds and the fact he was encroaching on an island at fasts speeds, thinking quickly he spread his wings trying to slow down, unfortunately, it seemed to be a futile effort as he was still closing in on the ground.
'Sh**!'
*CRASH*
A/N: Sorry about the delay in the story! it's not dropped just having a hard time this month and a bit, I'm planning to start to upload more, and hopefully, you guys are still interested and stick with me.
Also did a longer chapter so share your thoughts so I can improve.
