Chapter 61: The legendary Oda!!!

!!!!(AN: New FF! Today I wrote a chapter for my new bnha ff. I just started it on an impulse but if you are interested check it out and leave a comment.)!!!!

Jackson POV

They were extremely shocked after Kokoro informed them about me. The nervousness and tension became visible to the naked eye as they subconsciously prepared to either run or fight.

"What do you want from us."

It was Kokoro who asked me but there isn't really anything specific that I want. I saved Tom and screwed Spandam over, isn't this a reward in itself?

"I want to speak with Tom. No harm will be done to you so you can relax a bit."

The casual answer did little to ease their tension but to be honest I don't care much about that. Sabo, who I had stand next to me, stepped forward and under his touch, the piece of ground, they were standing on, started to levitate and carried Tom to the surgery room.

While Tom was undergoing a small surgery to remove the iron harpoon from his chest, Franky and co. waited for him outside the room. Once Law finished and gave them the okay they all went in to see, if the big fish man is okay.

I am sure that they have things to discuss right now so it was decided that I would wait till tomorrow to speak with him.

At evening we were all gathered in the kitchen where we just ate dinner. A few drinks, some music in the background and a good mood was almost guaranteed. Kids shouldn't drink? True that but if you can beat pirates and marines alike, then you can also drink a bit. They will have to know for themselves when to stop since I won't interfere where it isn't necessary.

Our guests on the other hand decided to eat with Tom in his room, since the later still needed to lay down for 1 or 2 days.

Anyways, at some point I noticed that Law has been staring intently at me for quite some time now. Turning my head in his direction caused us to look into each other's eyes while no one spoke.

"Captain? I think I need to ask you something."

Law broke the awkward silence first but...

'Why the hell did you ask me like that?! What's with that nervous tone and look?!'

"Sorry I don't like men."

"..." (Law)

"..." (Everyone else)

"Neither do I! And why would you think I would like you?!"

Law shouted back angrily. The small veins on his forehead became visible and for the first time ever I think he had the typical anime angry face where his teeth look like Arlong's. But there is something that bothers me after hearing his answer.

"..." (Everyone else)

"Wait! Damn you, what's wrong with liking me?! You think I'm not good enough?!"

"..." (Everyone else)

Pinching his face in anger caused him to retaliate and pinch my face. Now we are pulling at each other faces while the rest watched on and I swear, for a second I saw someone eating popcorn.

"You want to know what's wrong? Well first off you are 12!"

"..."

"..." (Everyone else)

'That's actually a valid point. Noted.'

Still as the captain I had to somehow win the quarrel so I ended it with a fist of captain. This always worked when we quarreled with grandpa... worked for him that is.

*Bonk*

"Ouch!"

"..." (Everyone else)

"Oy, what's with the stares?!"

It seems that somehow, our happy evening together turned a bit rowdy but after letting go of such small misunderstandings like reasonable adults, Law finally asked what he wanted to ask me.

"My actual question was, how the hell you always know about such stuff before it happens."

"That is actually something I also wondered about."

"Now that you mention it..."

Sabo and Kuina joined in after hearing Law's question and the others became interested in it as well.

"It does look strange. You knew about the trial, the set-up and even who it was that did all this even before it was planned. It's almost like you can see the future."

"Oh that? Well it's not really seeing the future but I know the future."

...

"What?!"

Ironically, Robin was way closer to the truth than she probably knew so this must have come as quite the surprise.

The question was obviously going to come at some point since I couldn't avoid it forever, but I already prepared an answer beforehand. One that is actually the truth with less details.

"Jackson-nii, what do you mean by that."

"Exactly what I said. Neither you, Ace nor Luffy know about this but years ago, there was a man."

"A man? What man?"

This time it was Bepo who interrupted me, clearly interested in where this is going.

"I don't know much about the man I met back then, only his name. He is called Oda and what he showed me on that fateful day changed my life in a way."

The best way to answer what you can't or don't want to answer is by dressing a pile of bullshit in a dress of truths. It clearly is effective seeing, how they all are listening to my words as if they were spellbound.

"He showed me this- no, he let me see this world for myself. What I saw was partly the past and partly the future but most importantly it was an alternative world where I never existed."

Silence filled the room as everyone was trying hard to sort out what they just heard. Unsurprisingly, Robin was the first to continue asking.

"Does that really mean you know about the past and the future you haven't intervened in?"

"Yes and no. What I know are bits and pieces, by far nothing to grand."

"...Does that mean it wasn't a coincidence that we all met you."

Law is indeed smart. He connected the loose dots thrown into the room and asked a key question. The underlying message behind that question is whether I used my knowledge to manipulate them into following me. This is difficult since I can't say I never used my knowledge in my favor.

"After knowing this, you will have to find that answer for yourself. Just let me ask in return, would it really change something. When we met, I didn't lie to you and always said what I wanted. In return everyone except Robin, decided on your own to accept whatever I have offered you and came on my ship on your own two feet."

"Why didn't you tell us about it?"

Sabo asked loudly, not even looking at me while doing so.

"Because it sounds stupid?"

"Yeah, that it does."

'Thank Oda, that he is so gullible.'

Me, revealing so much might seem extremely stupid but it would have come up somehow at some point in time anyways. Since they asked now, when we are close to set sail into the new world and risk our lives for each other, they should know about the truth, at least to some degree. And this sounds way more believable than the complete truth.

After waking from their trance like state everyone begun asking me questions regarding their future. Some laughed at it while some refused to believe what I told them. Kuina's face after learning that she originally would have died to stairs was... I can't describe that expression as anything but a mixture between a cute pout and a ferocious psycho frown.

During our talks I suddenly realized that laughing together with them about this feels really nice. I can't really explain it, this kind of secret didn't feel like a burden or something but it still just feels nice to see them accept that so easily.

Everyone talked in a merry manner as we discussed certain things from the future allowing me to watch quite some funny expressions and reaction until I woke up without remembering when I went to sleep.

The next day arrived. Today I would be finishing my business with Tom before we depart for the Sabaody Archipelago.

(AN: Hey! Author here! Many will probably dislike that Jackson told them about his future knowledge. Why did I write that? Was it even necessary? You will see about that when they reach fishman island. Regardless of necessity, I found the idea of a big secret other than Jackson's death, bringing them closer to each other, beautiful. Why another secret? What can they do about Jackson's father? But with knowledge about the future, they can dictate and or change certain events. It's like a certain power they now hold and willingly giving someone such knowledge symbolizes a lot of trust to me. Anyways I hope you could enjoy this chapter!)
