Why not have a devil fruit that works by naming stuff like tensura or fate like giving a sword the name blood eater overtime it gains sentient turning into vampire or vampiric weapon
I had high hopes but the fact that he's just recruiting everyone from the original crew and basically just replacing luffy turns it from a potential great fic into an average one. It's not bad, in fact the writing is good especially for this site considering most the things on here are translations, but I'd rather read something with oc's or side characters put together to form a crew then the same exact crew as every other fanfic aka the original one.
