Chapter 22: Chapter 20: Thanatos Pirates vs The Vinsmoke's
(3rd Person: POV)
A tense air started to permeate the deck of the Black Pearl as the Thanatos Pirates all stared at their two new and unwelcomed arrivals.
In the same way the two new arrivals stared back at the fledgling pirate crew.
This went on for over a minute before the tension was finally broken.

"Why hello.' The pink-haired Vinsmoke said. "Nice day today isn't it."
"Yeah, sure is." Roberts replied.
His hand on his blade while he did so.
Since thanks to his foreknowledge he knew a battle could break out at any second.
Germa 66 was ruthless and their leaders and ruling family the Vinsmoke were all basically sociopaths.
Except for the deceased mother of the children Sora, Sanji, and of course Reiju.
Who is standing right in front of Roberts and his crew at this very moment.
But of course Roberts isn't going to count on Reiju to diffuse this situation.
After all they are strangers, and with her younger brother Yonji here to keep up the appearance of being an emotionless killing machine like the rest of her family thought she was she might well attack his crew and try to kill them.
Which Roberts could not and would not allow.
"So mind if I ask why you and your green-haired companion decided to board our ship?" Roberts asked Reiju.
"Well we spotted you and since we didn't know who you were we decided to come and see for ourselves. Call it curiousity." Reiju explained.
"I see." Roberts replied. "Well let me sate your curiousity. We are simply a fledgling pirate crew that just happened to be in this area. We have no intention of starting any trouble with you all. So I say let's all just be on our way and put this little incident behind us."
Reiju was about to respond, but before she could Yonji opened his mouth.
"Sure. You can leave. But give me that woman first." Yonji said. Pointing a finger at Alfia. "She's hot and I want her as mine."
Hearing Yonji words Alfia began looking at him with a cold glare while Roberts did his best to control his anger at Yonji's words. As did the rest of his crew.
"Sorry. But Alfia is a member of my crew and she's not going anywhere." Roberts stated.
"Oh come on. It's just one woman. Would you really risk the lives of the rest of your crew just for her?" Yonji spoke. "Come on just hand her over to me already and my sister and I will be on our way."
"Yonji." Reiju spoke up in a warning tone.
But her younger brother completely ignored her.
His eyes focused on Alfia. His gaze looking at her like an object rather than a person.
"Sorry, did you just threaten my crew?" Roberts asked Yonji in a low voice.
"So what if I did?" Yonji asked. An arrogant smirk on his face as he did so.
Seeing this Roberts was disgusted.
He saw how bad Judges three sons were in the anime but actually meeting one of them in the flesh he found they were much worse than he imagined.
'And Reiju manages to deceive this guy, her other brothers and her father into thinking she's like them. If we were back in my old world she would be a top-class actress since her skills are just that good.' Roberts thought.
"Just checking." Roberts said.
"Like I care. So I'll say it again. Give me the woman and you can leave with your lives. If not I'll take her by force and you'll lose your lives." Yonji explained.
"Big words kid." Roberts said.
Though he knew Yonji could definitely make good on his threat.
He isn't an ordinary ten years old after all.
No, he's a lethal weapon in human form.
Even so Roberts isn't going to back down.
Hearing Roberts response to his words Yonji clicked his tongue, a frustrated expression appearing on his face the second after he did.
"Enough of this." He spoke.
Yonji then started walking towards Alfia. "Hey pretty woman you're coming with m-"
Before Yonji could say another word or come any closer to her Alfia unleashed a sonic scream and blasted him straight in the face.
Unprepared for the attack Yonji was blown off the deck of the Black Pearl and into the sea.
Seeing this Roberts now knew there was no avoiding a fight.
But given the current strength of his crew he knew that currently they couldn't compete against Germa 66 in a straight up battle.
Then Roberts remembered one very important fact.
He was a pirate and and most of the time pirates hardly ever fight fair.
Raising his left hand in the direction of Reiju Roberts used [Siphon] and began draining her vitality.
He also issued commands to his crew.
"Alfia, help me pin down the woman, Law incapacitate her. Weisz and Bepo get us out of here now!" Roberts commanded.
The second after he did so his crew sprung into action.
Unleashing a sonic scream from her mouth Alfia began working in tandem with Roberts to keep Reiju pinned down.
The pink haired girl having momentarily been stunned when her younger brother was blasted into the sea and Roberts began draining her vitality and stamina.
This was a mistake on her part.
One her older self from canon wouldn't have made.
But currently Reiju is only thirteen years old and still inexperienced.
An advantage Roberts and his crew will use to their own.
As Law summoned forth his [Room] it encompassed the entire ship.
All the while Weisz went to adjust the sails and Bepo moved to the steering wheel and began driving the Black Pearl.
Removing Kikoku from its sheathe Law used [Amputate] on Reiju and cut her body into several dozen pieces.
He then used [Tact] and moved her body parts to different parts of the deck.
Just as he finished this Yonji burst forth from the sea and up into the air. A murderous expression on his face.
"Time for you filthy pirates to die!" Yonji spat.
"Do that and your sister dies." Roberts spoke. Looking at Yonji as he did so.
Reiju head resting in his left hand. While he pointed his sword at her skull using his right.
"What the fuck are you saying you already ki-"
"Yonji!" Reiju head shouted.
The moment it did so Yonji was stunned.
"No need to question things. Just know your sister is alive. But if you attack us she'll die. The same if your snail ship attacks us." Roberts calmly explained. "So if you want your sister yo live you'll let us go."
Hearing this Yonji grit his teeth in frustration.
On the one hand he wanted to kill these pirates and take the silver-haired woman for himself and punish her for attacking him. On the other hand if he attacked then Reiju would die.
Which Yonji couldn't allow.
Since if he did his father Judge wouldn't be happy.
Yonji and his brothers could see it. Out of the four of them their father Judge cared for Reiju the most.
Honestly Yonji and his brothers couldn't care less about this fact.
But now in the current situation Yonji realized just how important that fact was.
For if his father Judge learned he had killed Reiju or allowed her to be killed the consequences for him would not be good.
This left Yonji in a dilemma.
Taking advantage of this the Black Pearl sailed full speed ahead out of the area.
Until eventually they were out of Yonji sight.
When they were he screamed in utter frustration.
Meanwhile on the Black Pearl Roberts was letting out a sigh of relief.
Since he and his crew had come out intact from their very first meeting with Germa 66.
That's a plus in his book.
But Roberts knows that might not have been the end of things.
Especially given how angry Yonji was.
'Just great. Now we might need to watch out for Germa 66 in the future.' Roberts thought.
His crew did not need that kind of attention from a mercenary kingdom run by total psychos.
But what happened as happened.
Now all Roberts can do is prepare his crew and himself for the possibility of another confrontation with Germa 66 in the future.
Though when and if that day does come Roberts made a promise to himself he crew would not run like they did today.
Instead they would destroy Germa.
As Roberts thought on this a voice knocked him out of his own head.
"Excuse me."
Looking down at his left hand Roberts realized he was still holding into Reiju severed head.
It was strange for sure but Roberts just went with it.
"Yes." Roberts replied.
"So, mind if I join your pirate crew?" Reiju casually asked.
The moment she did so Roberts and his entire crew all shouted in unison.
"What??!!!!!!!"
To this Reiju simply put a smile on her face.
