Chapter 7: ARC: Training Begins (6)
A month went by very quickly, it was a whole month of intensive training with my 30 other classmates.
I got to know everyone in the training camp. I made two friends in particular, of course I didn't consider them best friends, but it was nice to talk to them.
They are Gray and Marc, both are new Marines determined to get stronger. Like me, they train very hard, the only difference between them and me is that my improvement is much faster than the others.
In only 1 month, I have already caught up with Kizuki's level of strength and even surpassed him. I am stronger than him and I am very proud of it. Of course, I know that it's not much since there are beasts like Kaido and Garp that exist in this world.
I haven't tried to throw a punch with all my strength yet, because I might cause a small disaster in the city due to force.
"Michael, come with us, today we are going to go to the sea for the first time with Kizuki." The one who spoke was Marc, he is different from the others because he has a devil fruit. He has the Hyena Zoan which allows him to have a much greater speed than normal and sharp claws.
"OK, I'm coming!" I gave a hasty reply as I didn't want to miss this, this will be my first time out to sea.
I followed Marc who was also going to the navy boat that we will be going out to sea with. The boat is medium sized, but I can still easily get inside and stay on the boat yard.
The navy boat is different from those that exist in the manga of One Piece. I think Vega Punk had created new features to the navy boats.
Ours currently are basic, covered in blue and a small tower that allowed someone to look around by climbing up.
"Today we will try to find and capture Misoun, a famous pirate in this part of North Blue, his bounty is 7 million beries. He is currently trying to take over an island next to ours." Kizuki started to tell what Misoun is special about.
He told us that he has a devil fruit that allows him to bounce. He can make himself bounce to go faster or to reflect an attack against his caster.
He told us that we should be careful with Misoun because he became a pirate only a little while ago and he already has a bounty of 7 million beries.
This means that he is probably stronger than his bounty suggests. Of course, for my part, I never underestimated him, I know very well that you have to be careful with everybody, especially in the world of One Piece where a liquor seller could be very powerful.
