Underground bunker, Griseran forest, Forvirretia, Planet Dehzahk:
One week ago:
Fred overwhelmed with joy as he saw what the wolf was staring at. A human. He immediately picked up a log of fire from his furnace. The wolf saw the light and was trying to pounce on Fred now. A few back and forth swings here and there, and the wolf ran away in fright. The man immediately got down from the tree and thanked Fred for almost the entire night. Fred was more than just happy to meet another lad, another survivor.
Present day:
"Look what I found, Fred!"
"I don't believe my own eyes. Don't tell me you actually hunted it."
"So, now you don't believe me?"
"Not like that, buddy. I just thought that your people, the other survivors hunted it."
"No no no! I did! I haven't seen them for one whole week! And as you mention them now, I miss them…"
"You just lost your way, buddy. I asked you to use my map, and there you were, assuming yourself to be a human compass. Not my mistake!"
"Can you do me a favor, please?"
"You want the map now, don't you? Here you go. I found another by the edges of this forest during yesterday's hunt."
"Thanks, mate."
"Anytime, Geoffrey. Anytime. Now go! Move your legs and go find your home. Come back to me once you do that."
"Thanks Fred! I will. Bye! Bye Greggy boy!"
NASA, USA, Planet Earth:
"Any information from Ray yet?"
"None, sir."
Exactly at that moment, the Connecting monitor popped up. "Hello there, River! How's everything down there?"
"Skip the formal part and tell me the status."
"Why are you in such a hurry? Don't get tensed, mate. I'm planning on how to get hold of him and his friend."
"What good is the dog gonna do to us?"
"Dog? What dog? Oh Gregory! I ain't talking about him. I'm taking about Geoffrey, the other survivor."
"The other survivor? Hold on. Do you mean…"
"Oh yeah, goofball! There's another Alien in the vicinity!"
"Hail Mary, mother of God! Extra points, brother! I'll pass on this information to the POTUS."
"Remember to mention my name. I need points as well."
"Did you think so selfish of me? I will, Ray! You are the reason I'm gonna get a promotion!"
"Congratulations, brother! Adieu!"
NSA, USA, Planet Earth:
"Brendon, where are you? Come here, chop chop!"
"Yes, sir?"
"Arrange me a meeting with all heads. There's something important."
"Right away, sir."
Same day, thirteen fifty three hours:
"Everyone here?", asked Brendon.
"Yeah. Everyone except the one who organized this meeting.", replied Michael.
"You wanna hear from me? Then listen. I want your help, people.", said Stefan while entering the hall at exactly the same moment.
"Help? For the CEO? This is new! What do you want, traitor?", asked Thomas.
"Don't call me a traitor, Thomas. I didn't ask for this post. I didn't even enter. They selected me without my consent. They put this pressure on my shoulders. YOU did this. YOU, idiot, you were the one who wrote down my name in the competitors list."
"Get to the point, Stefan. What is that you want?", asked Rose.
"One help. One goddamn piece of help. I need you to help me shut down the Dehzahk program."
"Piece of help. You call this a 'PIECE' of help? And why do you even wanna shut it down? Are you afraid that Ray and Rivermont would be promoted before you are?", asked Thomas.
"Shut your mouth, will you? I want this program down not because I fear them being promoted. I want to bring this down because this thing is danger to mankind. Their blood and ours would never match. And the first thing River will do is spread this blood of his Alien captive far and wide and won't stop until everyone on this planet gets a dose. One sip of it, even if it's a drop, it's gonna kill you."
"What?"
"The survivor resisted Radioactivity of danger high levels. His blood would be modified. We already do not know it's compatibility. Even if compatible, the radiation in his blood is surely gonna kill us."
"I'm in, boss!", said Michael without a second thought. Rose and Thomas joined in, and so did the others.
"Now if we're gonna do this, we need to be silent. No one should know this. Shall I pass Code mute?"
"Yes, sir! We swore to protect. We'll do anything we have to do to keep up the promise.", replied David.
"That's the spirit, David. Brendon, pass the code."
Elppa temple, borders of Griseran forest, Raeffonoz, Planet Dehzahk:
"Hey Skarr! Launch the module. I need a full scan of the area."
"We've got to launch our satellite first, sir."
"We can't do that, Skarr. The survivors might see the launch. We can't risk getting exposed."
"How else are you going to scan this area?"
"Idiot! Did you think…"
"What else could I think if you ask me to launch the module?", interrupted Skarr.
"I didn't mean that module you piece of trash! The other one!"
"The other one? The which…"
"THE. OTHER. ONE."
"I don't understand, boss."
"Launch the Albert module. Need I say more?"
"No, sir. I've got it. Here we go."
