Chapter 62: Chapter – 62 (Paying Debt)
Lili moved her gaze from Primis to Ophis who was sitting on his left shoulder. When she looked at here, she fell into daze. The only Heavenly-Handsome person Lili had seen so far was Primis. Now she saw another person whose beauty evenly matched with Primis handsomeness. This really shocked her. Soon her eyes met with Ophis.
Those dark eyes which had a slit in them made Lili felt like she was falling in bottomless Abyss. Her body started shivering and she fell on her knees.

She was looking down on the floor with trembling body which was now covered in sweat. Suddenly, she remembered that Primis eyes which were also like Ophis.
If someone saw Primis Sharingan then their vision started to blur, and they lose the ability to differentiate between illusion and reality. In case of Ophis, those dark eyes made them felt like they were falling and being swallowed by the bottomless Abyss.
Witnessing Lili's condition, Primis used his magic on her to calm her down. Once she was calm enough, she stood up again while trying her best not to meet with Ophis eyes. Primis saw that but didn't say anything. In this Group only Primis and Ophis can eye-to-eye with each other without being affected.
Primis then walked towards the corpses. He drew his Elucidator and severed their head before putting them in his inventory. Now there were only eight headless bodies of Adventurers in the alley. Lili didn't understand why Primis did this, but she remained quiet. Next, Primis started walking out of the alley with Lili following behind in silence.

Ophis only nodded in her mind. She didn't even look back at Lili, but her injuries started to heal without her even realizing. Instead of healing, it was better to say that Ophis erased them. Lili who was following behind got confused when she could no longer feel any pain. She looked at herself and become dumbfounded. There was not a single wound on her body. After making sure that she was fully healed, Lili looked at Primis back. She didn't know how but she had a feeling that he was the one responsible for this. As a result, a small smile appeared on her face.
Soon they reached main street. Lili looked around and saw many people with happy smile; Adventurers were bargaining the prices; boys and girls were asking their parents to buy this and that; parents were happily buying it for them; Shopkeepers who were giving something to the children for free and so on.
Granted that it was before, Lili would have become jealous seeing this but now this atmosphere didn't affect her at all. Primis glanced at her and saw that she was not showing any reaction or any feeling looking at this, so he looked in front again and continued walking.

After some walk, Primis stopped.
Primis: We are here.
Lili also stopped and looked in front. When she saw what was in front of her, her body trembled violently. Along with coldness now there was now sadness in her eyes. In front of them was a normal Grocery shop. You can see vegetables and fruits in front of it. But the reason why Lili had such a big reaction was because this shop belonged to the old couple who once took care of her. Later Soma Familia wrecked it and stole their money. As Lili was looking at shop, an old man came out of the shop. He shouted to attract the customers. Soon his gaze fell on Lili, and he stopped. From the looks on his face, Primis can tell he was not happy seeing Lili. After all, this old man still blamed Lili for what happened before.
He still regretted that he let her live with them. At this time, an old woman also came out of the shop. She looked towards the direction her husband was looking and saw Lili. Unlike old man she didn't give Lili the same blaming look, but her expressions were that of sadness. As if she was asking why Lili came here. Before the Old man could shout to shoo Lili away, he heard an emotionless voice.
Primis: Are you done looking? If so, then move inside we must talk.
Old man turned his face towards the owner of voice. He saw a Handsome Man who was wearing black clothes and had Blood-red eyes. On his left-shoulder was sitting a little girl who was equally beautiful but had dark eyes. Seeing Primis and Ophis, the old couple fell into trance. Nevertheless, they returned when they heard that same emotionless voice again.
Primis: Move.
Their bodies trembled when they head Primis voice again. This time they hurriedly went inside as Primis ordered. Primis also walked in with Lili following behind quietly. He entered the room where the old couple was waiting.
The room was very simple. It had a kitchen in the corner and in center there was a table with two chairs at the end of each side. Primis didn't say anything and sat on one of them. Lili just stood behind him while looking down. Seeing how Lili was standing behind Primis in silence, the old couple confirmed that she was with him. The Old man then looked at Primis appearance and thought about something. Few seconds later, he screamed.
Old Man: YOU. YOU ARE "THE BLACK SWORDSMAN" WHO EVERYONE IN ORARIO IS LOOKING FOR.
Primis: Yes, I am. Now, "Sit down".
Said Primis in commanding tone. Old man body shivered as he hurriedly pulled out the remaining chair and sat on it. The Old woman was still bewildered that "The Black Swordsman" who the entire Orario was looking for was sitting right in front of her. Primis didn't beat around the bush and spoke.
Primis: I will directly get to point. You have taken care of Lili before, right?
Old Man: R-Right.
Primis: And because of that Adventurers destroyed your shop and stole your money, right?
Old Man: R-Right.
Primis: And you threw her away because of that, right?
Old Man: W-We---- R-Right.
The Old man who was trying to say something stopped noticing Primis gaze which intensified. Primis knew that if he will let him continue then this Old Man will start his long story about how they lived happily before and then how Lili joined them, how they took care of her and because of that, so and so happened. Primis didn't have time for such nonsense. He took a pouch of money out of his inventory and threw it on the table.

The Old Couple startled because of that. They could see a Vali which fell out the pouch when Primis threw the pouch on the table. And from the sound, they could tell that the pouch was very heavy and had a lot of valis in it. As they were looking at the pouch, they heard Primis emotionless voice again.
Primis: In this pouch there is 40,000 Valis. I already knew that when Adventurers wreaked your shop and stole your money, you had 3,000 or something Valis that time. If you add all the repair costs then all along it will more than 3,500 Valis but less 4,000 Valis, right?
Old Man: R-Right.

Primis got up from the chair walked towards the entrance. When he reached the entrance, he stopped and turned again.
Primis: And make sure what happens today remain secret otherwise same thing will happen. Understand?
Old Couple: Y-Yes.
Primis: Lili, let's go.
Lili: Yes.
Then Primis left the shop. Lili who following behind stopped when she reached the entrance, she then turned to the couple and bowed.
Lili: I failed to say this before. So, let me say it now. Thank you for taking take care of me at that time. Even though it was a very little time but I still for the first time experience such warmth in my Life. So, Thank You and I hope you both can live rest of your life happily. Goodbye.
Then she ran towards Primis direction to catch up to him. As for the Old Couple, they became silent hearing Lili words. They never thought she will Thank them after Primis gave them the money. Both then looked at the pouch filled with Valis on the table. There was sadness in their eyes and tears started to form at the corner of their eyes. They knew that they will never be able to see Lili again. Even if they do, they will be nothing more than strangers.
In truth, not only Lili thought of them as her family, but they also thought of her as their daughter. They loved the time all three of them had spent together. Still, they didn't regret the decision of throwing Lili away even now. After all, they are just normal Civilians. They were nothing in front of Adventurers. The Old man picked the pouch with his trembling hands.
Old Man: I also hope you will live a happy life, little girl.

Primis kept on walking forward without stop. Soon, Lili reached him and started following behind him like before.
Lili: Thank You.
Primis: Um.
Primis didn't say anything else.

[I see. But I just don't understand how your brain works.]
'Primis: Knowing Lili, I am sure she will think she did wrong them. Because of that she will keep on fulfilling their demands. That's why I paid her debt now so that it won't happen in future.'

Primis then glanced at Lili who was following behind him with her cold look but since he can sense her heart, he knew that she was happy right now. Primis looked straight again and continued walking.
