Chapter 8: Sword Art Online!
"I hope there is still a low-ranked world nearby...." Arthur groaned, stood up from the Throne and rolled his shoulders, then walked down the steps and into the Palace Garden.
Arthur stood in the center of the Palace Garden next to the fountain and looked at the worlds nearby.
[This one looks good…] Arthur determined with a slight smile at a low-ranked world nearby.
[Lets see if this works…] Arthur pulled his arms out of his robe, revealing his slim but muscular upper body.
After visualizing something inside his mind, Arthur's upper back shook softly and something black grew from his shoulder blades.
"This will work…" Arthur glanced behind him with a smile at his pair of dragon wings.
Using his fresh pair of dragon wings, Arthur took off into the air above the [Dragon Palace] and hovered in the [Dimensional chaos].
The [Dragon Palace] swayed and slowly shrank until it became the size of a snow globe then hovered in front of Arthur.
[I really want to shake it…] Arthur shook his head with a smile and entered [The Demon King's Treasure] with the [Dragon Palace] in hand.

Inside [The Demon King's Treasury] next to the crystal fountain, a black and gold ripple appeared and Arthur walked out holding the [Dragon Palace].
[It's got its own sorting system?] Arthur glanced at the treasures scattered all over the ground, separated into different sections. [Does this mean that my treasury is better than Gilgamesh's?] Arthur thought with a complacent smile.
Arthur scanned around for a second, then looked towards the open space facing the fountain and threw the [Dragon Palace].
The [Dragon Palace] landed and expanded quickly, returning to its normal size with the entrance facing the fountain.
[Okay, now this looks more like a treasury…] Arthur nodded with a pleased smile. [Although the colors on the [Dragon Palace] are different, maybe that can be changed later...]
Arthur glanced at the piles of treasure on the ground next to the fountain. [Now that there is a place to put it, let's move it inside.] He waved his hand and a [Demonic Gate] appeared below the treasures and transferred them inside the [Dragon Palace] Throne room.
"Alright, its time to go." Arthur clapped his hands with a smile and walked through a [Demonic Gate].

Somewhere in the [Dimensional Chaos], Arthur walked out of a [Demonic Gate] and used his wings to fly towards the low-ranked world he decided before.
After getting a little closer to the low-ranked world, Arthur floated in the [Dimensional Chaos] and summoned the [Chaos Gate].
Arthur's eyes gleamed silver with crimson red symbols flashing past his eyes and in front of Arthur a transparent [Chaos Gate] with a bright silver ripple in the center appeared. The silver ripple slowly faded and was replaced with what appears to be a dark alley leading to a street with cars passing by once in a while.
Arthur cautiously stepped through the [Chaos Gate] and turned around to see the [Chaos Gate] slowly fade along with his eyes returning to their original cyan blue.

Arthur walked out of the dark alley and onto the sidewalk with a relaxed smile and bright eyes. "Its good to be back."
"Wow.. what a handsome man…" an old male voice whispered.
"White hair? That's rare, he must have dyed it." a mature female voice whispered.
"Do you think I can get his number?" a young female voice whispered.
"What a nerd. Does he think he's an anime character or something?" a male voice whispered.
Hearing all the surrounding whispers, Arthur quickly walked into the crowd with a gray face and disappeared.

A couple of blocks away, there is a small coffee shop on the corner that looked serene.
In the coffee shop's window you can see a young man was sitting by himself, savoring a cup of coffee and nibbling on small pastries.
The young man has a normal-looking face that would be hard to pick out from a crowd with short black hair and cyan blue eyes wearing a luxurious black robe from ancient times that attracts the attention of all the customers in the coffee shop.
"Coffee…" Arthur murmured with an intoxicated look on his face.
While Arthur was sipping his coffee with relish, a decent-looking female server strolled over and handed him some coins. "Sir, here's your change."
"Alright, thanks." Arthur accepted the coins with a smile and placed them on the table.
The coins were silver with a one in the center and Japanese text underneath.
When Arthur escaped earlier, he saw a couple of signs and instantly knew where he was, Japan.
Although he doesn't know how or why he can speak and read fluent Japanese, he assumed this was a part of his dragon bloodline that allowed him to master languages easily.
Oh, you're wondering where his money came from? Funny story. While running, he met some drunk gangsters that were trying to take advantage of a woman in an alley and 'kindly' asked them to lend him some.

After finishing his coffee and deserts, Arthur stood up and walked towards the door, leaving his change on the table as a tip.
"Thank you and come again!" The decent-looking female server smiled at Arthur with a bow.
Arthur nodded with a smile and left the coffee shop and onto the street again.
After walking for a block and not finding anything, Arthur stopped a passing man in a suit and asked. "Excuse me, do you know where a pawnshop is nearby?"
"Yeah, if you continue down the road, you will find one to your left." The man nodded and explained.
"Thank you." Arthur bowed thankfully.
Following the directions of the man in the suit, soon Arthur appeared outside a sleek-looking pawnshop.
"This will work." Arthur nodded with a smile and opened the door.

The pawnshop was empty, probably because it was a Monday and everyone was at work. Sitting behind the counter is a dull-looking man in his upper-twenties watching tv with his mouth wide open, not even noticing that Arthur walked to the counter.
Just as Arthur was about to knock on the counter and get the clerk's attention, an ad appeared on the tv that attracted his attention.
"News just released by Argus that their new game 'Sword Art Online' is entering its beta stage!" The female news reported spoke with passion. "Sign up now on their website for the chance to become a beta tester starting next week! Please note that you must already have the NerveGear required to test it."
