Chapter 48: No name
[Heydens pov] [Keith had a morning shift that ended at 3 in the afternoon]
"Im home!" I heard Keith shout from the living room. I immediately ran out of our bedroom and over to him. I hugged and kissed him, earning me some giggles from Keith. He took off his coat and proceeded to walk into the kitchen, me following close behind.
He got himself a glass of water then leaned over the counter whlie drinking it. I walked behing him and began rubbing his shoulders, he let out a loud sigh that told me to keep going.
" Baby? Whats wrong? Did something happen at work?" I asked, sitting him on the stool so that it would be easier to give him a massage. 'Tall ass' I thought to myself.
"Yeah, my mom was their and started spouting out nonsense and telling me to leave you so that I could get my old life back." He said. I now understand whats wrong, I dont know about their whole relationship, but from what happened the day I met her she sounds like a bad person.
"Baby, dont let what she says get to you. We are happy right now, and any minute now we will have our babies here to make us even happier." I said to him. I hope he doesn't let her ruing what we have, I want to live a happy life with him and our children.
"Anyways, I wanted to tell you something, I got a call from my mom and she told me to come over, she also wanted me to bring you." I said, recalling the weird conversation I had on the phone with my mom.
"Really? What did she want to talk about?" he asked. "She said she couldn't tell me over the phone, and to meet her at a café." I said.
[Le flashback]
'RiNG RInG'
I walked into my room to see who was calling me. When I looked at the caller ID I was surprised to see that it was my mom. She hasn't talked to me since I gave her my house key to move into this house.
"Hello?"
(Heyden? Sorry if I am interrupting anything, but I need to talk to you.) She said with a shaky voice.
"Don't worry, I wasn't doing anything. What is it?" I asked.
(Not over the phone, I need you to meet me at the café down the street from the house, you rrmember which one right?") She asked.
"Yeah, I remember. Why cant we talk over the phone though?" I asked.
"We just cant! Meet me at the café at eight p.m. Come alone.)She said before hanging up.
"O...k." I said, even though no one was there.
[End of Le flashback]

"Heyden!!!" Mekena screamed as she hugged me. She called me and asked if we could hang out.
"Hi Mekena, how have you been?" I asked.
"Terrible! The teachers are giving out stacks of work to do, and its becoming stressful." She said, slumping down in her seat.
" Mekena, there are only three weeks left of school, they need to give you work so that you pass." I tried to reason.
"Easy for you to say, you're smart, I ain't dumb but it's hard to focus." she said, taking a large sip from her drink.
"I need.to do more work than you, I missed a lot of classes trying to figure out what to do with the kids, online school isnt enough." I said. Its true, I get more work because I stopped coming to classes. I go atleast three times a week but I have to do a lot of things so that we are ready for the kids.
"If you want, I could help you." I said. She squealed and said thank you. The rest of the day we talked and went shopping.
A\N : This was the worst chapter ever. I forgot to finish it today and berfore I knew it, it was already 11. I rushed the ending, the talk with Heydens mom was cringy and so was the talk with Keiths mom in the last chapter. Feel free to bash this in the comments, because I hate this, and whatever you guys say will be true. I will get the updates back on the every 2-3 days track. As soon as August started my mood went down hill. This month started off on the wrong foot and I apologize.
(P.S.) I wont get the updating back on track right away but very soon.
