♡The Day of The Ball ♡
"Miss, there's trouble." Diane rushed to me with a box in her hands, and I saw the other three maids following her with boxes in their hands.
"What is it?" I asked as I brushed my hair in the mirror.
"There are four different dresses that came today. It is from the Marquis of River, Duke Nathan, and the two Princes. Lady, what are we going to do?" She asked in a hurry.
"Proceed to what's planned." Wearing one of those means I favor that one person more. " I said calmly.
"But, Lady, this is such a waste." Diane seems disappointed.
"Don't worry. I'll wear them when needed. " I smiled at them.
"Understood, Lady Avyanna."
I nodded and they started to put make ups on my face. I wonder if she'll wear the dress I gave her.
I hope that she will.

I arrived at the main hall of the Palace Ball and everyone had started conversing. Thank goodness they don't announce who arrives like the things I see in movies.
I stood on the side, looking at people and trying to recall their names. However, nothing came to mind.
Noble ladies should keep in mind that everyone in aristocratic society is important, and my lack of knowledge in this world puts me at a disadvantage.
Also, the fact that I can't remember any other details from the novel.
I wasn't sure what happened after this ball but as far as I remember, Yelena would ask Avyanna to her tea party which was its main objective was to humiliate her.
For now, my concern is Yelena. Because I know I'll survive anything even if I get in trouble, since I am currently the heroine.
However, Yelena who is originally fragile, and just so cute, is a villainess who will have a bad end.

Plus, I really can feel a strong attraction towards her. I want to protect her at all costs. Even if it means I have to lose my life.
There may be other girls in this capital who exceed the villainess's beauty. But the fact that I fell for her cuteness at first sight won't change anything.
I smiled unknowingly.
"Wow. Is that Princess Yelena?"
"Her dress..."
"That looks very comfortable."
"Look how she easily walks with a smile."
"Where did she get that dress?"

My smile vanished but it was replaced with joy inside me. Wearing the dress that I got her. The dress is more elegant with the person who wore it.
She was absolutely stunning and my eyes ceased to turn away. As if it was a glue stuck on it.
I'm glad that she ended up wearing them. I was having thoughts that she might not wear them.
She seems to be looking for someone. And I am assuming that it might be me.
But then she walks toward him, Marquis Roshan River. What do I expect? She's as straight as a stick.
I want to ruin my hair but the maids did everything to do this. It'll be a waste.
"Yanna!"
I was startled for a moment when someone shouted. My gaze turned to them and I saw an elegant lady approaching me.
Her face has a bad expression plastered on it.
"Yanna! I can't believe you didn't wait for me! I said to wait for me at the entrance!" She pouted at me.
"France.." I unconsciously called.
Right, France Gabrielle. A daughter from the Marquis Gabrielle and a sole friend of Avyanna.
She is also known for her beauty and is the opposite opponent of Yelena on managing the high society.
"What? You also haven't come to me for weeks! I have been waiting! Have you forgotten about me already?!" She pointed her finger at me.
"Sorry. I have been so busy these past few days." I lied.
I'm actually bored and I just realized that I have France for a friend.
She pouted at me and then clung to my arms.
"Next time visit the state okay?"
"Yes, yes." I surrender. It's not like I have any choice and she's originally Avyanna's friend.
"By the way, you're not with your boys today. You got into some quarrel?" She asked while looking around, confused.
"I just decided to go alone today. Plus, I want to breathe some air." I answered.
It's a lie though. I really just don't like being surrounded by guys these days.
After being stabbed by one, what do you think will happen? Although, I get that those men were drug addicts. It's just a little uncomfortable.
Especially when I'm near the First Prince Riley. My heart can't help but to rampage inside my chest and I felt not so great.
I suddenly felt that a gaze was on me. And when I looked for that gaze, it was from the cutest person I know.
She's glaring at me and somehow probably killing me in her mind.
I smiled at her and bowed my head as a sign of respect. However when I turn my head up, she has already turned away. That kinda hurt.
"Hmm? Is the villainess still coming right at you? Tell me if she is being physical, I'll be the one to pour water on her." I can hear the irritation in France's voice.
"It's alright. You don't have to worry." I smiled at her and she also gave me a wide smile.
"I'm being pursued by someone." She excitedly said.
"Really? Which family is it?" I asked. Because having a friend like her is really like a treasure. And according to the novel, she died at the hands of her husband.
"Son of the Cartel's."
"Don't." I immediately said.
"What?" She gave me a look. "What are you saying, Yanna? Don't?"
I held onto her hand and smiled.
"I'm telling this as a friend. Brent Cartel is not a very good guy. I hope you trust my words because all I wish for you is happiness."
"Oh, Yanna..." Her eyes are full of emotion. "Okay. I do trust you of course."
"His Highness, the king and Her Majesty the Empress have arrived."
Our eyes finally turned to the throne as both the rulers of this empire sat on it. I can feel gazes on me, I don't know why but it seems dangerous.
