Chapter 175: A 'Karen'.
Li Hwa just woke up and the first thing she saw when she opened her eyes?
Aaron in an apron.
Li Hwa thought she was still dreaming.
So she closed her eyes thinking that since she is now conscious, the dream will soon end.
After a couple of minutes, Li Hwa opened her eyes again and saw Aaron in an apron once more.
"You're not dreaming. Haha!" Aaron laughed watching her girlfriend being cute for the past 3 minutes.
Li Hwa sat up on her bed and questioned her reality.
"You're not dreaming, love. Yes, I'm in an apron." Aaron chuckled tapping Li Hwa's forehead with his middle and forefinger.
"Wow! I'm surprised to see you in an apron. You...you look perfect!" Li Hwa said admiring the handsome young man in front of her.
She thought of how lucky she is to have such a handsome and beautiful boyfriend.
Aaron's looks put shame to current popular young handsome models and actors.
In response to Li Hwa's words, Aaron gave a brilliant dazzling smile.

Li Hwa's heart was struck by arrows.
'Damn! His smile is lethal!!!' Li Hwa said in her mind.
"Get freshen up and join me at the dining room, I have prepared breakfast for us." Aaron leaning in front of Li Hwa gave a kiss on the cheek before backing out.
He didn't say anything more, he gave a smile to Li Hwa then left the room.

10 minutes later,
Li Hwa arrived at the dining room and saw Aaron putting a few dishes full of food on the dining table.
"Hmm, smells good! What's the occasion? To treat me such amazing and delicious breakfast." Li Hwa asked taking a seat at the table.
"So, we have classic french toast, egg benedict with hollandaise sauce and almond flour buckwheat waffles. Yong-Hyeon is with his new friends and today is our two-month monthiversary of our relationship. I know it's stupid but let me be stupid and enjoy our time together."
Li Hwa was speechless.
She was surprised by Aaron's gestures.
She found it sweet about how much Aaron cares about her and loves her.
Smiling at Aaron, Li Hwa said to him.
"You are such a sweet, caring and lovable boyfriend! Thank you and I love you, Aaron Blood."
"And I love you too." Responded Aaron with a smile to Li Hwa.
"So since you wanted to watch that wizarding school with that boy wizard-"
"Harry Potter!"
"Yeah, that movie series... You wanted to have a movie marathon but because you were busy you didn't get the time to do so. Let's rest today and watch it, what do you say?" Aaron said as he put a piece of french toast in his mouth.
"That's awesome! You're the best!!!" Li Hwa replied raising her voice in excitement.
"Good, I have everything set up. We can watch it after breakfast."
Li Hwa nodded to Aaron's words as she tasted the food Aaron prepared for her.
Complimenting Aaron, Li Hwa and Aaron started conversing about various topics as they eat breakfast.

In Starsilver City.
Nyx just finished shopping.
She wanted Cassandra and Timothy to sort out their feelings for each other and talk. So she left the apartment giving the excuse of going shopping.
Nyx didn't know what to get, so she went around the stores and bought some clothes for herself and the girls. She also had her hair done and dyed her hair cerulean blue in streaks on the sides.
As she was wondering what to do next, something caught her eye.
A blue crystal pendant was on a jewellery shop's display.
Entering the Jewellery shop, Nyx approached one of the female clerks.
"Hello, miss. Welcome to EMZ Jewellery house." The female clerk greeted, Nyx.
"Can I see that crystal pendant on display?"
"Of course, miss. Wait a minute." The clerk went to get the pendant for Nyx.
After a few moments, the clerk returned with the pendant with her.
"Here, miss."
Taking a closer look at the pendant, Nyx was mesmerized by its beauty.
Now that she has a closer look at the pendant, she found out that it's a diamond, not a crystal.
The colour of the diamond matches Nyx's eyes.
Cerulean Blue.
Nyx wants to give this pendant as a memento to Ana.
'She would love this pendant as it will remind her about my eyes. It's the perfect gift for her!' Nyx thought in her mind.
As she was about to ask the price of the pendant, a woman suddenly voiced out.
"Hey, I took fancy to that pendant first!"
A woman in her 30s wearing a fancy dress walked over.
"Just because you took 'fancy' to it doesn't mean it's yours. Since this pendant hasn't been sold yet, that means I'm eligible to buy it." Nyx replied to the woman before turning to the clerk.
She again was about to ask for the price, but the flamboyant woman raised her voice once more.
"Call your manager! I was here first and this pendant is mine." The woman said to the clerk before turning to Nyx.
"Since you said, this jewellery hasn't been sold. I'm also eligible to buy this, hmph." The woman snorted looking at Nyx.
She eyed Nyx from head to toe.
The woman saw that Nyx wasn't wearing any branded clothes or didn't have any fashion sense, she snorted again looking down at Nyx.
'Oh, my darkness. This 'Karen'!!!' Nyx said in her mind.
The Woman's snobbish personality and 'Karen' like behaviour was making Nyx sick.
Soon the manager came and greeted the snobbish woman.
"Hello, Mrs Harrington. Is there something the matter?"
"Yes, I was here first and I took fancy to this pendant. I wanted to buy more jewellery, so I went to the other side to take a look. But now the clerk was selling the pendant to this girl here. I was the one here first, so the shop should prioritise me over this girl!" Mrs Harrington replied in displeasure.
The manager then turned to Nyx.
"Since the pendant hasn't been sold yet, I'm eligible to buy it. She hasn't paid for this pendant yet, this pendant is not hers yet."
The manager nodded to Nyx.
"It is true this pendant hasn't been paid by you, Mrs Harrington. The girl has the right to purchase this pendant as same as you do." The manager told, Mrs Harrington.
"How much is this pendant?" Nyx inquired.
She doesn't want to deal with any drama, she just wants to quickly pay for the pendant and leave.
'The snobbish woman can go to hell for all I care.' Nyx said in her mind.
"It's a hundred and eighty-five thousand dollars, miss." The manager gave a professional smile before stating the price.
Hearing the price, Nyx furrowed her brows.
The snobbish woman snorted, seeing that Nyx became silent after hearing the price.
"Just because you're beautiful and wear pretty clothes doesn't change the fact that you can afford this piece of diamonds!" Mrs Harrington assumed that Nyx doesn't have the money to buy the diamond pendant after seeing her going silent when the manager stated the price.
"This is a luxurious jewellery brand shop. Why was this girl who can't afford to buy any piece of jewellery here, was allowed to be entered this shop? Since you can't afford to buy anything, are you here to steal?" The woman looked down at Nyx and branded her as a thief to teach Nyx a lesson.
"Who do you think you are?" Mrs Harrington's voice was so loud that the other customers and employees were able to hear her.
Everyone looked at Nyx and started murmuring, talking back behind her back.
'What the fu*k, this bi*ch!' Nyx yelled in her mind.
She can't believe that people like this bi*ch exists in real life.
She reads a lot of web novels and almost all of them have these kinds of people in them at least once.
When reading those books, she always thought these kinds of people don't exist in real life. They are fictional characters after all and can only exist in fictional stories.
But seeing a real-life bi*chy Karen like this 'Mrs Harrington' really changed her mind.
Bi*chy 'Karen' do exist in real life!
The reason Nyx turned silent after hearing the price was because there's only one card in her purse that can be used to buy the pendant.
That card belongs to Aaron.
Aaron is not a person who likes to shop and doesn't have a high maintenance cost to maintain his looks.
Aaron most of the time uses Nameless' treasury for anything he needs and that money belongs to the category of 'black money'.
The card was also given to Aaron by his mother, but Aaron never used it because he doesn't want to spend his parent's money.
When Nyx left the apartment, she only took some cash and a single card of hers.
That card she took was a debit card with only forty-something thousand dollars.
Sighing inwardly, Nyx decided to use Aaron's card.
She didn't bother with the idiot Mrs Harrington anymore.
Opening her purse, Nyx took out a black card with 11 digit number and a very distinguished insignia in blood-coloured imprint.
She handed the card to the manager.
The manager taking the card from Nyx inspected it first.
Recognising the insignia on the card, the manager took a deep breath in shock!
Even the 'Karen' Mrs Harrington recognised the insignia on the card.
"This! This-this-" Mrs Harrington was so shocked that she couldn't find any words to say.
These kinds of black cards are only given to people who the Blood family patriarch and Tessiana Blood personally approve of.
The cards also cannot be faked, who would dare to make counterfeits of something from the Blood family!
The manager coming out of his shocked state quickly went to pack the pendant for Nyx personally.
Who the fu*k is Mrs Harrington? The manager doesn't care.
The young girl in front of him is much more important than someone from the Harrington family.
After a few minutes, the manager returned with a shopping bag on his hands.
He handed Nyx the card and the shopping bag with the pendant inside.
Nyx taking the box and the card, turned to the 'Karen'.
"Just because I don't wear branded clothes and look like this-" Pointing towards herself from head to toe, Nyx continued.
"Doesn't mean I don't have the money to shop here, bi*ch!"
Turning around, Nyx left the jewellery shop.
