Chapter 1: Prelude: 'Twistedly Fated'
"How did you know about that?" She said as she was in shocked and still couldn't believe that he knew one of the memories she was trying to forget.
Once again there was an anger and frustration in his heart when he realize that even once, she didn't even recognize him even though their paths crossed many times.
This is now his chance to show his true longed-feelings for her. But no right words suddenly want to came out of his lips. Even with tears of madness and with dismay, he can only feel a massive pain of brokenness that he can't still fully embrace. A genuine love he have for her since then is something he always have to go through for so many years, is also causing him now to lose his faith that she maybe, for once. Just maybe at this very moment, might change and she might be finally looking at his eyes and open her heart for him.
Is this not the right time yet?
"I've always been here. But never for once, you tried to look at me. I'm here to finally say, I'll be letting go of this feeling and be free from you, Apolline."
She froze and no longer can move from where she was standing and the only thing she could hear was her heart beating which she did not know what it meant. As she watched him leave, she suddenly wanted to call his name and embrace him to stop turning his back.
"I'm sorry that I am the one who brought you pain, I knew and I chose to be a coward..." She said as these are the only familiar words she knows.
