Chapter 264: Reaching Common Ground with the Scheming Goblin

Blinking… Horthal started rubbing his eyes the next second. He wondered if his vision was off again, despite the healing magic from earlier. Glancing up to see that offered hand and the boarkin's warm, welcoming grin. 

When the rhinokin didn't even acknowledge the situation, Lobur grabbed the rhinokin by the wrist. 

"Come on! You're a slave, you ain't got anything better to do!" Lobur loudly grumbled.

Horthal meant to fight against that boarkin's grabbing hands. However, he was startled when Lobur yanked the heavy Horthal back to his feet with little to no trouble. 

"What's wrong? I thought gladiators accepted death and shit?" Lobur chuckled.

Most spectators had gone silent as the focus shifted to those two. Rizz, on the other hand, kept his eyes on his bullkin captive, sparing the rhinokin a single glance. 

"Don't worry about him, Lob. His head is harder than his horn! Who knows how long it'll take for him to realize how lucky he's gotten?"
