Chapter 2: Dungeon of a forgotten friend Pt.1
Hans Zero wasn't about to clear the Training Forest. That's when he understood his place in the game as a mediocre player. He wanted to prove himself by clearing the forest but in the end, only professionals could clear it. Hans Zero took the river and reached Training Ground and met up with one of his friends Zale.
After finishing the training ground both of them joined the Red Pegasus Clan with three of their other friends. The Red Pegasus Clan didn't have much impact in the North Cardinal Continent, except controlling the barren northern mountain regions of Valvur kingdom.
Three months had passed since Hans0 started the game and he was at level 45.
Location: Forest of Valvur(1)
Hans0 kept hearing fast footsteps approaching him, he grabbed the handle of his katana. He waited as the sound of the footsteps kept increasing, he slightly unsheathed the blade from the Saya. From the huge walls of bushes in front of him a goat appeared, horns towards him.
'First Breath'
Hans0 activated his first skill.
[Increase the power of the first attack by 50℅]
[Increasing vitality by 10℅ for 10 seconds]
'Wind cutter'
Hans0 stroke the stomach of the goat.
[You have dealt 7000 physical damage]
The goat flew away and its back hitting a tree, it quickly rose up and once again charged at Hans0.
[Forcefully retracting the blade]
Hans0's hand sheathed back the blade in the Saya. It was one of the drawbacks of the katana class but as the goat charged towards him there was no worry on his face instead Hans0 smiled.
"Now" On the right side from the thick bush emerged a green light.
'Shield Bash'
A man in thick armor intercepted the goat throwing it away.

"Good" Hans0 complemented Zale one of his friends.
'Second Breath '
[Increase the power of the first attack by 70℅]
[Increasing vitality by 30℅ for 20 seconds]
[Increase Attack by 10℅ for the next 60 seconds]
"Finish it," Zale said lowering his shield. Hans0 simply nodded.
'Light Speed'
[Increase agility by 20℅]
Hans0 rushed towards the goat which was standing up.
'Flame Strike: Hono no ha'
[You have dealt 13000 damage]
[You have killed Valvur Native Goat]
[Gained 15000 EXP]
"Nice job" Zale complimented as he walked towards Hans0.
"Yeah. Whatever that was an easy kill" Hans0 sheaths the blade in the Saya."I guess this should be enough for today. What do you say?"
"Yeah," Zale said. "Let's get moving"
Both of them started to walk towards the Clan House but soon realized, they were lost. Denier has a basic overview map, it's the job of the players to figure out the path.
"Oi Hans, don't you think the fog is increasing?"
"Yeah. I have noticed it too. We are lost I guess.."
"shhh." Zale put his right index finger on his lips indicating Hans0 to a shut up.
"What happened?" Hans whispered.
"There is a group of monsters in front of them" Zale crouched down followed by Hans.
"The monsters know we are here, let's fall back" Zale whispered.
"How many are there?"
"About 50"
Hans0's eyes widened with shock, " What the hell were you waiting for, let's run idiot! "Hans whispered.
" Yeah. Let's go" As both of them were slowly stepping back, one of the most cliche things occurred with Hans. He stepped on a thing making a sound alerting the monsters. The ground started to shake as they both started to run.
They ran and ran until both of them noticed the cave, "There's a cave " Zale pointed towards the cave. Both of them picked up their speed entering the cave.
[You have to enter Dungeon of ???]
Both of them reached a notification, the sound of the monsters' stampede had stopped.
"You got the note?" asked Zale
"Yeah. Now, will you wait to check inside?" Hans0 grinned.
Zale smiled back. "We are rushers, not campers, let's go"
"Hehe. Let's go in"
The cave was mostly dark with torches at random locations. Zale and Hans each took one torch from the wall. There were no monsters but it was just an endless cave with no end.
"I am hella tired. It's already been 40 minutes." Zale grunted. "I am tired"
"What the hell are you tired of, you have 40 vitality. Just continue lazy ass. I feel like we will get something good from this dungeon" Hans mocked Zale in a friendly manner. They both continued to walk.
After 30 minutes, "This is bullcrap, we have been walking for more than an hour now. Still, nothing" Hans0 complained.
"Who the hell told you to take the katana if you can't even walk for an hour." This time Zale mocked Hans.
"Oi Hans look at that..." Zale pointed towards the light emitting from what it seems to be the end of the cave. As they reached the end both of them instantly halted in front of the giant pool of magma, but there was a sudden earthquake, leading to both of them falling on two different rock platforms just above the lava pool.
[A new quest has been created]

Choose to sacrifice yourself or your friend.
If you choose yourself you will reach your Spawn point and your friend will die and vice versa.
If you die now you will go back to level 1

Hans looked at Zale, he simply nodded. Both of them had received the skill. Both of them sat on their platforms continuously looking at the quest to find a loop. But the statement of the quest was very simple, either kill yourself or kill the other. 30 minutes had passed with both of them not even speaking a word.
[Time remaining: 57 seconds]
Hans0 in an impulse shouted," I will sacrifice my self"
Zale quickly turned towards Hans, "You idiot."
[Are you sure? ]
"Yes," Hans0 replied without even thinking.
"No, god damn it. Take that bake. I will sacrifice myself" Zale shouted.
[ The choice has already been taken]
The platform below Hans0 started to crumble, Zale could do nothing but just look at his friend.
"Help me, K" Hans0 fell into the pit of lava.
Zale's vision started to get blurry, and as it got clearer he noticed that he was back in front of the clan hall.
