(3rd person pov)
Preparing for the tournament Xander stopped cooking, and doing his extra hobbies temporarily to upgrade his items, and instead of cooking his food he ordered random food.
Even though he did stop doing all of these things he made sure to keep everything clean and not let anything get too messy since he wouldn't want to stay in a messy house.
When he was logged in YGGDRASIL he would constantly try and hunt different monsters to get all the material he may end up needing for his new equipment.
On the day before the tournament, Xander checked his status because he was interested in what it said and he wanted to see what kind of extra abilities he may have acquired.
When Xander checked his status he was astonished mainly because looking at his status wasn't a priority for him so he would go months without looking at it.

–You will obtain a random elemental control ability, and depending on your mastery of this element will depend on how useful and what you can use it for.
– Depending on the classes you have chosen you will receive a massive buff in one of the certain stats, and that stat will have its limit removed.
– With your blood monster almost anything besides most items can receive some type of diluted vampiric trait. (You can take away this vampiric trait from whatever you give it to at any time.)

– You become almost completely immune to the solar rays of the sun, but even if you are immune to them they still will annoy you.

– You have to drink blood from any type of player, NPC, or monster to keep you sane so you don't go on a rampage. ( While you can drink monster blood you will have to drink it more often, the same goes for any heteromorphic race besides vampires, as you level up you can last longer without blood.)

–You slow down in the sun, but are faster than in level one, and will upgrade with the next level.
–Only Items infused with the holy or light element can slow down your regeneration speed and depending on how bad the wound it depends on how long your regeneration is slowed down.
(Lvl 3)
–The sun will no longer hurt you at all, but even though you may not receive damage from it anymore, the sun will annoy you no matter what you do unless you receive a special umbrella to protect yourself.
–Anything that has a natural good aspect can sense you and will try everything to kill you, or will notify someone to help it run away from you.
–With a special magic circle your power can be degraded up to 65% depending on what material is used for it and depending on how much mana is infused with it. (Magic circle is currently only known by you and will not be spread for now.)

–Can manipulate your blood or other weaker beings' blood as they wish. Of course, you can't manipulate the blood of beings who are more powerful than you.
–Can draw blood out of your body without physically damaging yourself, and depending on the amount of blood can make you lose health, but not always.
– Can use this skill to drain blood from the opponent from every single human gland that is in their body, and you can make it happen indefinitely or stop whenever you wish.

After understanding all of his new changes Xander admired himself for somehow only being level 78 since monster people got level 100 within 5-10 months of them playing depending on how much they play.
He was also shocked that he unlocked an ability to use elemental power since he didn't think that there would be a change without magic.
While he did have the ability to use magic he still hasn't delved too deep into it yet, and by the time he is done and gets into the new world, he thinks that he should be able to use up to 8th-tier spells, or he may even get up to 9th tier spell if he gets lucky.
Another thing that he was shocked about was that he hadn't completely fully developed the abilities that he got from his progenitor class yet.
Xander thought that the vampiric charm, Linked skill, and secret stash skill would be maxed by now.
The only one that he wasn't shocked about was that the King Of Night skill wasn't maxed yet, if anything he was kind of expecting it to only be maxed on when he got his progenitor racial class maxed.
Being curious about what this element he received, Xander tried his hardest to try and figure out what it was, but no matter what he did he couldn't figure out what it was, so he temporarily gave up trying to figure it out.
Finally, after finishing what he wanted, Xander thought it was about time that he stopped for now and went to sleep so that he could be ready for the big day tomorrow.
