Chapter 140: Realmic

"What is this apocalypse?"

A bout of silence lingered after my words.

The Strongest Dragon God stared straight into my eyes. It looked as if he was thinking of where to start.

As if everything he would say was filled with memories that were still painful for him. Memories that stung.

After considering all of it, the dragon god finally began speaking.

He cleared his throat and stared at the ceiling this time, his eyes gazing into the darkness.

"Have you heard of the beings called the Serafim?"

Serafim?

I had a sense of familiarity with this word. Familiarity that did not stem from my thoughts but from the soul of the wave-attack user that I had killed and consumed.

So the Serafim were someone that even that guy had a clue about.

But I knew nothing.

I shook my head to the dragon god's question. He sighed, nodded, and looked up again.

"They are beings from a different realm."
