Chapter 12: CH12 Temporal is Loud!!

'They've found out about Zane and the others?!'

Alodar was shocked at this new bit of information. It was to be noted that Zane and his men were scouts and experts at hiding.

'I've got to warn them!' Alodar slowly but still quite quick, left the door, heading for the entrance.

A slight squeak broke the subtle silence in the office. Lyner looked up to Unklair.

"Kill the little easedropper. Don't leave any witnesses." Lyner's voice was emotionless and cold. He showed no remorse at his command.

When Unklair has left he spun his chair back to facing his desk.

"I hope Mr. Zorander can take this camp back once it's lost." Lyner seemed to know what was going to happen; that he was going to lose.

—————————————————

Alodar knew at once when he heard loud voices that his journey back out was not going to be as easy as getting in.

Bandits darted through the halls. One passed through the one in front of Alodar. He was a few yards behind the four bandits in front of him. He glanced to the left and noticed Alodar's frozen figure starring straight at him.

He knew at once that this seven to eight year old was not suppose to be loose.

Before the bandit could shout to the others in front of him, Alodar was already upon him.

"Slow," Alodar mumbled under his breath.

At once, the bandit slowed and Alodar had enough time to reach for the saber in the bandit's scabbard.

Alodar almost had his fingers around it when it twitched to the right; just out of Alodar's reach.

'Oh yeah, it just slows him; it doesn't stop him.' Alodar regained his unbalanced footing and pumped his arm back.

The punch was shot forward like a bullet. Although it didn't knock him unconscious, it knocked him back; slowly of course.

The spell wore off and the bandit had enough time to shout for help.

Alodar, knowing it was his last chance to win, took the time the bandit used to talk to steal his saber.

With the saber in hand, he raced through the hall, not looking back.

A few arrows ran with Alodar in the hall, and one actually grazed his upper left arm.

Blossom trickled down so Alodar hid inside the nearest intersection.

Alodar could see the exit down the direction across from where he took.

'Dang it! It was on the other side." Alodar looked around for anything to help him fight against the eight or so bandits coming his way.

Luckily, he saw a storage room just down his hall.

He ran down to it and closed its heavy door. Rummaging through the countless item and appraising all that he could, Alodar found two item that could help him.

One was a scroll and the other was glowing sword. They both read:

[Item: Magic Scroll

Spell: Temporal Link

Mana Cost: ?

Description: allows the user to make a link to the Ancient God of Time. Only a user with a time bloodline can achieve a successful link. Also, only a person allowed by Temporal can ever see this scroll, override it wouldn't have ended up here being appraised by you]

[Item: Sword

Name: Timeless, Destroyer of Reality(incomplete)

Description: can destroy anything just by touching it. Only a chosen can touch it, otherwise they would age rapidly. (sword forged by the love of Temporal, Ancient God of Time and Rift, Ancient Goddess of Space)

*Incomplete* can only age or rejuvenate an item(and only an item) by ten minutes]

Alodar couldn't believe what he was looking at. A magic scroll to talk to Temporal, Ancient God of Time and a sword that was forged by him.

'I'm just... speechless?'

Alodar didn't have anymore time. Footsteps were sounding outside the door.

'Sheesh! No privacy!' Alodar looked back to the scroll. 'Now or never!' He activated it and a lime green light enveloped the room.

The next thing Alodar knew he was looking at an old man with a lime green robe and the same colored eyes. He was lean with a handsome face and a absent minded face.

Alodar was in a circular dimension-like place with swirling light green space walls and clocks floating everywhere.

The man looked to Alodar and was a little surprised.

"Wow! Young man, you're 0.00074335 seconds late! What a tradedy! We must hurry!" The old man looked around and picked a clock that was floating near him.

"Touch this clock!" He floated the clock in Alodar's direction and waited.

"That clock will level up your time magic to level four! Be grateful! I had to go through a lot of trouble to do that! Even had to take some of Fletcher's talent! What a tragedy! What a tragedy!"

Alodar reluctantly touched the clock.

[Host has touched the 'Talent Time Clock'. Do you wish to withdraw or deposit time levels?]

'Please withdraw it all Neowalt,' Alodar told Neowalt, eager this time.

Alodar looked back from the clock to the old man. "Who are you exactly?"

"Oops! I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Temporal! But my friends call me Mark Anthony!"

"Why?"

"Reasons! Reasons my dear boy! Now, no time to dally! Let's go! Leave and defeat those bandits!" The old man, or Temporal gave a thumbs up to Alodar, showing his support.

When Alodar got back to reality, he realized no time had passed; in fact, time had gone back!

The bandits were moving to the intersection. Alodar used this little advantage to get to the intersection first, still holding the sword 'Timeless'.

{Kid! Go now!} a voice yelled within Alodar's head. He jumped back.

'What the hell?!' He thought.

{Kid, it's me, Mark!} came the voices reply. Alodar relaxed, remembering his short but useful talk with the Ancient God of Time, Temporal.

Alodar didn't move though and this annoyed Mark.

{Kid go now!!} Mark's voice was louder and angrier than usual so Alodar took off passed the intersection.

The bandits reply was a little slow as they were not expecting him to move so soon, and so fast.

With speed of a cheetah, Alodar was on the other side of the intersection and still running to the exit.

{Too late kid! You messed it up!} Alodar ignored the voice of Mark in his head and continued, but he soon realized why it was too late.

Unklair was now at the entrance, looking angrily at Alodar.

"Child, how did you escape?" Unklair face definitely was not talking to a child, more like the man who killed his wife. It was cold and boiling with rage.
