Chapter 60: The Good News.

"Pretending not to know what you did won't help you but admitting to it actually will" Jacob came down from the chair he sat upon, leaning closer to Ariel and whispering. "I seriously don't know what kind of weapon you used in defeating me and causing my leg not to heal as fast as it should…"

This was the part that Ariel started to get confused on, so she tried to chip into the conversation but was shushed by Jacob who continued. "But I promise you, that when I find out what you used, I'm definitely going to kill you before your father even sells you off".

This statement of Jacob's caused Ariel's mind to whirl around. As usual, Jacob was never going to admit to her defeating him so he came here to lay accusations on her. Ariel doesn't know what caused him to limp nor the reason why his legs weren't healing the right way it should.
