Chapter 75: Chapter 74: The battle begins

Damon gazed at the distance and frowned. Just as Tristan had predicted there were both fox spirits and Vampires in the Forbidden palace but that wasn't what left him disturbed. Damon was more interested in the enemy at the distance. The least amongst them was at least an esteemed human with more exalted human realm monsters in their midst. There was nothing less than a two-tailed fox spirit amongst the enemies.

"They found us?"

The vampires and fox spirits squinted their eyebrows as they gazed at the army below, surrounding them on all sides. What was more shocking now was the fact that there was no city guard in place or imperial guard patrolling the streets of the capital.

Having fierce military operations like this in the capital is illegal unless the person has the approval of the son of heaven! The fact none was in place to stop these people, they already knew the son of heaven was very much aware of their presence. And has decided to get rid of them tonight!
