When Yuji asked me to take care of little Kou, I didn't think much of accepting. From what he had said, the little girl was like a little sister to him, so I saw no problem in taking care of her for a while.
Accompanying her while she's having fun around the island couldn't be that problematic, could it?
I have never been so wrong in my life.
"Kou! Kou, where are you?" I shouted as I ran across the island, frantically looking around the surroundings for any sign of the little girl.
It was about an hour ago that I was walking her down the beach, letting her sample the food that the association was providing. Up to this point, everything was going very well, but when I diverted my attention for less than 10 seconds, I completely lost sight of her. Since then I have been desperately looking for her all over the place.
"Yuji is going to finish me off!" I muttered, my eyes turning to a group of people who were partying.
Running up to them, I caught the attention of one of them, who turned to me in confusion.
"Hey, did you see a little girl come by here? Silver hair, doesn't say much." I asked almost desperately, he seemed to think for a moment, before realization flashed across his face.
"Ah, yes! I saw her! She was accompanied by a guy, he seemed to be a fighter, but he wasn't someone who would be participating in the tournament." He spoke, the glint disappearing from my eyes as I absorbed the information.
'Fighter? One of those guys who were trying to take the position of the main fighters? E-They know that Kou is someone important to Yuji? Are they going to hold her hostage to get him to hand over his position?!' I muttered in my mind, my eyes narrowing as I realized the gravity of the situation. 'No, I can't let that happen. Yuji entrusted her to me, I can't even think of putting her in danger like this.'
"Which direction did she go?" I asked.
"Uhm... They seemed to be heading toward the forest."
Very well, I'll take care of it myself.

Sneaking among the bushes, I hid behind a tree when I could hear a voice, my eyes narrowing as I searched for its source.
"Damn, I didn't get paid to kidnap children.... That damned old man, he's lucky he pays well, or I'd make another scar on that ugly face." I heard him say, me quickly sneaking over to get closer to where he was. "Good thing that little girl doesn't seem to be too smart, made my job a lot easier."
'He's talking about Kou...' I concluded, continuing to move silently until I was behind him.
"Maybe I should have a little fun with it, that idiot will surely be okay with it, as long as I don't break it too much."
I widened my eyes as I heard this, a vein popping in my forehead as I stood up from my hiding place, quickly moving until I was behind the man, who seemed to notice my presence and slowly turned around.
"Uh? Who are you-"
Boom!
Before he could finish his question, I hit him with all my strength, knocking his body to the ground and causing a thud that sounded throughout the place.
"You- You son of a bitch-" With blood gushing from his nose, he tried to speak, but I immediately sat on his abdomen and began frantically punching him in the face.
This continued for several seconds, with me hitting him in the face to the point that he could barely be recognized.
"Where is Kou?" I asked, my eyes fixed on the disfigured face of the man, who was struggling to speak with much of his teeth destroyed. "Where is the little girl you took?"
Grabbing his bruised chin and squeezing just enough to make him feel pain, I asked in the scariest tone I could reproduce. This seemed to work as fear rose in his eyes.
"S-go ahead, you'll find her." He babbled, but I was able to understand.
Getting up, I didn't even look at his face before kicking his head hard enough to knock him out. As learned in my time in Yggdrasil, this kind of scum deserves no mercy. The last time we let someone like that hang around, one of our friends almost died.
No one from Yggdrasil would make the same mistake, and Yuji made this clear before he left for his training trip.
I am not disobeying my commander's orders.

The moment I arrived at the indicated location, I was faced with what looked like a small camp, with 4 men scattered around as if they were keeping watch.
"We brought the girl, why hasn't the boss shown up yet?" One of them asked, my eyes narrowing as I was able to see a small figure moving around in a tent.
"He's probably busy, he'll be here soon."
"If he takes too long, I'll end up having some fun with the girl, her calm attitude gets on my nerves."
"Stop being gross, man. She doesn't look a day over 14."
"And since when has that stopped you?"
"Haha!"
The four of them started to laugh, my anger increasing with each laugh that came out of their throats.
Keeping control, I was able to scan the surroundings quickly, concluding that Kou was in the middle tent of the camp, considering the movement I was able to see.
'She's probably tied up.'
About to move, I stopped when I felt a presence at my back, I slowly turned around to see a man staring intensely at me.
"Now what we have here."
I felt sweat collecting on my forehead, I quickly stood up to walk away, only to have a fist connect in my face, my back crashing to the floor.
"Fuck." I cursed, getting up to see 5 of what looked like mercenaries staring at me with murderous intensity.
"We have a snooper."
"You took too long, boss."
"What do we do with him, boss?"
I immediately understood that the one who had found me was their boss, raising my guard as I prepared for a fight. As confident as I was in my abilities, since even Yuji praised me, I clearly felt the strength behind this punch, which means that at least their boss is strong.
In this situation, I can by no means let my guard down.
"Just finish him off, then throw the body into the sea." The chief spoke, turning his back as he moved toward the tent where Kou was.
'Damn it, I can't let him take Kou.' When I took a step to front, I was stopped from continuing by the 4 goons, who stood in front of me. 'I need to deal with these idiots first, this is going to suck.'
"Sorry, kid. It's just business."
"Business or not, I will enjoy doing that."
"Hey, we can play with his body-"
Boom!
Before the last henchman could finish, I punched him hard enough to send his body away, my teeth clenching as the veins bulged in my forehead.
"You bastards... Why do you have so many sex offenders here?!" I shouted angrily, quickly moving toward the other three, who looked shocked at their companion flying by them.
Seizing this moment, I punched one of them in the rib, causing him to choke and fall to his knees on the floor. Trying to punch him again, I jumped back when a kick almost hit me, my frustration mounting even more.
"You little shit , I'm going to kill you!"
The moment he took a step toward me, I swept the distance between us in an instant, throwing a punch to his chin that immediately knocked him out, his body crashing to the ground like a rock.
"Kill me? You bastards, it would be easier for you to fight sharks."

In the world of delinquency, the Yggdrasil gang made its name known throughout the country, leaving its mark on the generation as the gang that surpassed all others. It was not only Yuji who became known as the strongest gang leader, but his commanders received their own recognition.

'They may not be very strong, but their teamwork made me pretty tired.' He thought, turning toward the tent where Kou was standing.

The moment he turned toward the tent, the only thing he saw was a fist inches from his face, the blow hitting him full on, the force behind the attack sending him backwards and causing him to crash into a tree.
'Fuck! Where did that come from?!' He thought as he clutched his nose, his eyes opening in shock when the man titled 'Chief' appeared in front of him.
Boom!
Before he could react, another blow came, the man's fist smashing into his stomach making him choke, but before he could wail in pain, a flurry of attacks came, Akira being punished by dozens of punches as he tried to defend himself uselessly.
"You did well kid, but I have a job to do, and it's not going to be you who-" The boss began to speak, but before he could finish, he was abruptly interrupted, his eyes widening in dread as blood spurted from his throat, soiling Akira's bruised face.
"Kou didn't like being tied up." Akira, who saw the chief's body fall to the ground lifeless, lifted his head with difficulty, his eyes landing on a Kou looking at him with a frown on his forehead. "Kou wants to see Yuji now."
'Palm of Rakshasa...' Akira thought, his consciousness threatening to fade as he looked at the little girl in front of him. 'So that's the technique Yuji was talking about.'
'In the end, I don't think this girl was in danger.'
"..."
'Damn Yuji, I want a payment for that.'
