Chapter 6: CH.6 Tragedy
Venessa pov
My name is Venessa Michaels, and my son is a to say a peculiar child to say, when he was born, he made no sound, not a single peep at first, I was worried along with the doctors but after some testing it showed that he healthy as an ox.
That was when I knew that I had given birth to a warrior, as he grew up I realized that he had some odd quirks, for one he is overly quite so much so that I had to check on him to see if anything went wrong but, the next thing is that it seem that his shadows would move sometime, at first I thought it was my eyes playing tricks on me but after it happening over and over again it seem that it was really moving.
The more he grew up the odder things that I found about him such as how smart he is with him quickly picking up everything that I though him, I would've sent him to school, but I was worried about how quite he was, so I decided to homeschool him.
On his fourth birthday he asks me to train him I chalked it up to him just being interested it in, but he really liked martial arts and had talent for it. By the time he was eight he already practically mastered it and could put it to use with the body he has which made him stronger than even me.
All these odd's thing must come from his father which I wish I knew who he was so but that doesn't matter because I love my son. Adrian is my little miracle, when I was younger, I was diagnosed with infertility which end my relationship with my last partner.
But who would of know that I be so lucky to have Adrian, I was so happy when I heard the news that I cried, after having him I loved him with all my heart, and I know he does to? For you see Adrian shows his love in small ways.
He doesn't really talk or even change his face from the normal blank expression but I can always tell when he's happy, which is hard because they last for second one of those time was when I told him I was proud of him and for the first time I actually saw him smile, which made him look adorable so I know he love me he just being a little tsundere.
This says even more when after what he said when we finished talking about his father, safe to say I am very happy to have him in my life. I just need to find a way to get him to open.
After praying I went to the kitchen to prepare lunch everything was going great like it has for the past years in our own little heaven until it the end started with a mighty roar.
"ROOOOAAAAR"????
Adrian Pov
"ROOOAAR"???
After hearing that roar, I startled by it and stopped what I was doing, and I immediately teleported outside to see what it was. What I found shocked me before me was standing two gigantic beast each only having a one eye.
There was only one thing to call these thing cyclops they both wielded clubs and as soon as I teleported near them, they smell the air and turned towards to me and started charging break the tree near nearby. I dint fear them after everything that has happen to me, I fear nothing and so from my shadow I called my scythe it was one made of pure darkness and was taller than my body.
The first cyclops swung his club downwards intending to squash me, but I dodged it and when it fell onto the ground, I climbed on it and ran up against him then I cut his head off after I jumped off him making his head slide off and his body become a bloody fountain.
The second cyclops was immediately angered seeing his friend die because it roared angry at me and charged at me but once again I was to fast for him and I dodged but this time I could attack him in his berserk stage so I teleported a little farther away from him and turned my scythe into a bow a pulled back my arrow and aimed.
The cyclops started charging at me as soon it located me again, but I stood my ground and contracted my power into one shot, when the cyclops got close enough, I shot the arrow. The arrow left the bow and expanded into a giant arrow which obliterated the cyclops killing.
After the enemies finally died, they started disintegrating and turning into gold dust 'well this is interesting to say the least, who would off though cyclops am I in some type of fantasy world or something and gdl is some type of mana, but that doesn't make any sense in why they only came here today.
As I was thinking about this, I heard a scream that could only belong to one person and without waiting for one second, I teleported to my house and as soon as I come out of the shadow, I saw something that brought something that died out a long time ago.
Infront of me was another cyclops which was bigger than the previous ones and he was bringing down his club down onto no other than Venessa who was looking as if she went to a horrendous battle.
And with a squish the cyclops brought down his weapon killing the Venessa the one person in both of my life to ever show me any form of kindness, the one person to give love, the one person to care for me, my mother and just like that she was dead and the floodgates that I dint know existed broke and I roared to the heavens.
"AAAAAHHHHHH"
