Chapter 2: Chapter 2 - BOOM

[The phantom drives are online. Neutron cores are stable.] Jaya's mechanical voice called once again inside the room.

"Proceed to ignition." Michael and Victoria said unanimously.

[Goodbye sir. Goodbye my lady.] Jaya's mechanical voice rang one last time.

There were invisible ripples that came from the bottom of the ship. It rose slowly then accelerated towards the sky and in less than a few seconds it was completely out of sight from the two people who had their head held high with tears flowing from their eyes.

After a few minutes, seven burly looking individuals wearing battle armor broke through the glass roof and landed inside the room in front of Michael and Victoria.

"We detected and engine ignition coming from your home, Michael." The man who stood in front of the seven individuals spoke as he slowly walked towards the couple.

"That has nothing to do with you, general Gorgeta." Michael responded confidently.

"Do you really think we can't locate one spaceship? Consider carefully, old man! If you hand over the AI now, I can even let your offspring rove to wherever rubbish planet you dispatched it!" The man, now named Gorgeta demanded.

Michael smirked at Gorgeta's arrogance.

"His name," He paused, his eyes fixed at the man in front. "Is El-Dirao. And he is beyond your reach!"

Gorgeta's expression grew cold.

"What a stupid fool," said Gorgeta. His face showed a mixed expression of annoyance and anger.

"You will give me the AI and you will tell me where you sent your child. Or I swear to beat it out of your mouth, starting with your wife."

"Hah… Hahaha…" Michael started laughing. "We're well prepared not to leave here alive." He sneered. "You should worry more about how your little boy Vegita would fare when you're gone."

"Just you? With a power level of trifling 8000?" Ignoring the taunt, Gorgeta returned the sneer.

"General, let us deal with them, you don't need to dirty your hands over some mid-level warriors." One of the men who stood behind Gorgeta spoke sheepishly.

Ignoring his men, "My power level is 16,000. Just 2000 under his majesty King Otamot. Surely you don't think you could pose a threat to me, do you? You, who are hailed as the brightest minds in this entire galactic sector." Gorgeta spoke mockingly.

Michael gave a half-smile.

"Is that your pride speaking, Gorgeta?

You, who do not even know how big the universe is, has the audacity to mock my intelligence?" Michael scorned more before continuing, "your foolish king is nothing but a little bug in the eyes of Freeza! Our race will become his slaves! Your King will get us extinct by forming an alliance with him. It's not even an alliance, it's a fucking slave treaty!"

Gorgeta clenched his fists. It took all to contain the burning rage. He was a proud man. He was the king's brother, while the latter was only a mere scientist. He wanted to destroy the man in front. He, and all that he held dear to him.

But!

He was here for a purpose. The man held something that was crucial for the alliance treaty that his brother, the king had prepared.

He endured and tried to 'negotiate' one last time.

"Last chance old man. Give… Me… The… A.I!" He ordered as the energy in his body started leaking, giving a sense of heaviness to the people inside the room.

Michael ignored the tantrum, but his eyes gleamed dangerously. Victoria remained silent, holding firmly on to Michael's hands.

"This place," Michael clicked on the metallic bracelet he wore. "You and all of us here, including any remaining data related to Jaya's code-," he continued.

There was a feeling of unease, faintly surging from the bottom of Gorgeta's heart. But he did not act and allowed Michael to continue his movements. He remained arrogant. He didn't believe Michael could get away from him. And the thought of Michael doing something that could threaten his life, never even crossed his mind.

A red crystal, the size of a basketball materialized on Michael's hand.

And immediately, Gorgeta's eyes widened. His body froze, feeling a great sense of crisis.

"Will be reduced to atoms!" Michael's words came to an end, as his eyes flashed dangerously. He then waited. Waited for Gorgeta to make the last, desperate move.

After a flash of daze, Gorgeta broke out of the shock. However, his heart still raced violently.

"You!" He concentrated all the energy in his body. Everything around him became still as if the time had been frozen. He moved, or rather, he tried to. All his energy and attention were to grab the object Michael held in his hand.

Meanwhile, Michael raised the hand, which was holding on to his wife's soft, snow-white palm. He kissed the back of her palm, while locking eyes with her — eyes full of love and compassion — one last time.

"YOU FUCKING LUNATIC THAT'S A NEUTRON CRYST-" Gorgeta screamed, racing with all his might, but before he reached, there was a ring of three consecutives "beeps", and then-

*BOOOOOOOOM*

An area that enveloped nearly a blasted out and immediately as it expanded, it collapsed inwards as if a blackhole had devoured everything. There were no mushroom clouds visible, and even the shock wave was swallowed with the collapse. The only thing remaining was a huge crater with a diameter of about one kilometer.

Meanwhile, Victor, who was slowly losing his consciousness kept on crying as the spaceship speed through space, only to the accompaniment of a steady electronic pulsing's.

"FUUUUUUKKKKK…!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
