Chapter 9: -Art vs Brock 2 and Relaxing
Random Pokémon fact - Did you know Ash would have easily beaten trips snivy if he wasn't clearly dumb and used other moves that aren't electric?

Chapter 9
"You really are a tough opponent but be ready for my next Pokémon, Go! Onix!" Brock said as the rock snake Pokémon then got out of its pokeball as it looked at Riza and Art.
"Thanks for the praise but save that for later, Riza return" Art said as he took Riza back to her poke ball making Brock confused.
"Why did you take your Charmeleon back? I'm sure it could have took my Onix on" Brock asked Art as he was confused as to why Art returned Riza.
"because I felt like it" Art said as he then took out Ryokos poke ball.
"Go Ryoko" Art said as he let his Dratini out in the battle field.
"A Dratini!" Brock said in surprise as you don't often see a Dratini everyday.
"Match Begin!" the Referee said.

"Ryoko start off with Aqua Jet" Art said as the Dratini then covered herself in water and speeds off towards the Rock snake Pokémon.
"Onix Bide!" Brock said as he knew this was going to hurt his Onix quite alot since it's 4x weak to water.
{Onix!} The Onix endured the hit and glowed a bit indicating that the bide was successful.
"Agility then dodge the bide" Art said as Ryoko then glowed in a pink hue as her speed doubles.
"Now!" Brock said as his Onix tried to hit the dragon type but to no avail as Ryoko was too fast for it to hit.
"Now dragon tail" Art said as Ryoko then rushed towards her opponent then slamming her draconic energy powered tail into the Onix's head making it fall hard on the ground.
"Onix!" Brock said as he sees his Onix get knocked down but was then relieved when he sees it get up again.
"Alright let's show them use Dragon breath!" Brock pulled out an unexpected move.
"Dragon breath too" Art said a bit in a hurry at the surprise Brock gave.
Both Pokémon clashed their dragon breath as both tries to push the other but looking closer you can see Ryoko winning by a decent margin since she was practically trained as an all rounder but he had mostly focused on Ryokos physical strength but that doesn't mean he will neglect her weaknesses.
"Onix get out of there!" Brock said as his Onix too realized that it was losing the battle since it attacking power is quite poor but it has Exceptional defense.
'How do I get myself out of this? He's already winning but it seems wait.... I can't win and it looks like he has experienced battling before but he's really young' Brock thought as he looked at Art calmly waiting for his next move.
'I was gonna forfeit but.... Something tells me he wants to battle all the way through' Brock thought as he had a glint in his eyes.
"Aqua Jet followed by Water pulse" Art said calmly as Ryoko then started rushing towards the giant Rock snake Pokémon.
"Onix Dig!" Brock said as his Onix then dug onto the ground.
"Water pulse on the hole" Art said as Ryoko then arrived at the hole via aqua jet and fired the water pulse inside the hole.
{GROAAAA!!} they all heard the Onix got hit as it hadn't gotten too far yet into the hole.
"Onix Get out!" Brock said as his Onix then came out of the hole covered in bruises.
'looks like he had gotten serious but I know that this isn't the games anymore so the plans I had back then that can't be used are now being used' Art thought since the only ways to counter dig was Earthquake and Magnitude.
"Onix Slam!" Brock said as his Onix's tail then started to lift up intending to slam it on the Dratini.
"let's end this Full power Dragon tail!" Art said as Ryokos tail then glowed a brighter purple and blue hue then rushing off towards her opponent.
Ryoko rushed off as she sees the tail of the Onix coming towards her but it was quite slow for her eyes since she has used an agility which boosts the user's speed by 20% each use.
As both Pokémon gets close to each other they looked at each other's eyes then suddenly.
Ryoko then swiftly shifted her direction then jumped on the Onix and started climbing its body then delivering a powerful dragon tail to the face instantly knocking it out.
".....Onix is unable to battle the winner is challenger Art from Pallet town" the referee said as he saw the one sided match between Art and Brock.
"*Sigh* looks like I lost.... I haven't experienced a one sided match like that ever" Brock said as he remembered when he was 16 he battled Red and blue.
"I really thank you for the battle it really opened my eyes there, and here's the Boulder badge it is proof that you have beaten the gym leader of Pewter city which is me" Brock said.
"Thanks I'll be going now" Art said as he started walking outside the gym.
"He's really something else... Maybe I should travel too.... But who would take care of my siblings?" Brock said outloud but he didn't know that his wish would come sooner than he expected.
*Back to Mc*
"Look Ray we got our first badge" Art said as he showed Ray the shiny gym badge from which she immediately took from his hands.
"Make sure not to drop it okay?" he said as he let her play with the badge to which she got bored after a few minutes of playing.
Both of them arrived at the pokemon center as they see Gary leaving.
"Oh already leaving?" Art said to Gary.
"Yeah finished everything I need to all I need now is the gym badge, wait... If you're here does that mean-" Gary couldn't finish his sentence as he see Art flash his badge in front of him.
"how was the gym?" Gary asked as he looked at the badge.
"Find out for yourself, but I think you should come back later since the gym leader needs to heal his Pokémon" Art said as he goes inside the Poke center and Gary nodding at his words since the proof is already in front of him so he decided to go find something to pass time with.
After going in the poke center Art had immediately had Riza and Ryoko checked up by nurse joy as he doesn't really want to take his chances.
After waiting he sees the Golden Charmeleon and the Dratini come towards him.
"Good work girls I'll prepare something you both love eating when it's dinner time" Art said as he was going to make a feast for the girls to celebrate on their victory at the Pewter city gym.
He then looked at the time as he sees it still quite early so he decided to give them some light training today.
He let everyone out of their poke balls as he looked at them.
"Alright everyone were going to do some light training for an hour then you can all play" Art said as all of them seemed happy.
So after an hour of light training we can see Art and his Pokémon relaxing with some snacks that he made.
As they were relaxing Cera had moved closer to Art as she is now a Kakuna.
*Flash back*
Art had caught a Weedle and trained it the next day.
As he was traveling he encountered a 5 caterpies who seemed to be mad at him so he let out Cera.
"Cera use String shot to tie them up" Art said as Cera was quite fast for a normal weedle and tied up the mad caterpies.
Cera then started glowing as she had evolved into a Kakuna.
"You did a good job" Art said while petting her.
*End of Flashback*
Art and his Pokémon are enjoying their time as he found a nice spot to relax in Pewter city.
"This is a really nice spot right girls?" Art said as Riza, Ryoko, Psychi and Cera were near him.
{Yep this is really nice master} The Abra spoke to Art with telepathy not even realizing herself.
Art then looked at the Abra as he sees her relaxing, she then notices her master staring at her.
{Master? What's wrong?} She asked.
"Can you speak again?" Art asked as Psychi then just tilted her head at him.
{What do you mean? I can't speak human language master} She said.
"You know telepathy?" Art said as the Abra then started thinking to herself.
{Waah!!! I can talk to master now hehe} she said as she hugged him while also realizing that she has been talking to Art with telepathy now.
"Well looks like we're going to be having an easier time communicating" Art said while petting the Abra while the others watched in confusion.
Art saw their faces as he then explained to them that he can talk to Psychi since she was a psychic type who can now speak to him in his mind.
When Art dropped the bomb Riza and Ryoko were really happy and started hugging Art since he has done alot for them.
Victoria on the other hand was just standing there looking like she doesn't care but deep down she was smiling.
After Relaxing on that spot time passes and night came so he prepared a feast for his Pokémon making them happy as they found out that Riza and Ryoko had won them the badge.
After eating Art went to the poke center to sleep since you can stay in the pokemon center for free at 1 week maximum.
