Chapter 17: S1E17:Clearing A Path
It only took them a few minutes to come up with the perfect plan. Foxx and Brock had come up with most of it while Jessie and James just sat back and listened. It was now time for them to act!
Foxx and Vulpix would approach from the front while Brock and Jenny from the left and Jessie, James and Meowlth from the right. Everything seemed to be going according to the plan that's until Jessie and James couldn't hold back their urge to say their motto any longer. Just as Foxx was approaching the group Jessie jumped out in front of him and said, "Prepare for trouble!"
"You better make it double!" added James as he slid out to join her.
"To protect the world..." started Jessie before being hit by a Rattata's headbutt.
"Vulpix! Flamethrower!" yelled Foxx as more of Team Rocket's Pokemon starts to charge them. Brock and Officer Jenny jumped in and sent their Pokemon to work on Team Rocket. It was a very balanced fight until Jessie and James got involved and started messing everyone up. In the end Team Rocket was either down for the count or had run off scared.
As for Jessie and James they both had been beaten and were now backed into a corner when Vulpix strolled right in between them as innocent and loving as possible. She looked at the attackers and with all the love in the world reflecting in her eyes she opened her mouth to release a powerful fire blast that sent them flying.
Foxx walked up to her and held out a hand for Jessie to take before saying, "You two fought good for a couple of screw ups."
"Thanks. I think." replied Jessie as she let him help her up. Once on her feet she looked around as the heroes all looked at each other before asking, "What now?"
"Now. I'd say we all go about our business." replied Foxx as he turned to leave. He then called over his shoulder, "Don't worry I have a feeling we're going to run into each other again."
So Foxx and Vulpix were off once more to seek the instructions of Kurt the Pokeball expert. I wonder what amazing challenges lay before them.
