Professor Foxx started down Route One with his Vulpix on his shoulder. He was enjoying the walk part of him wondered if he'd catch any more Pokemon or if he'd run into any trainers.
So after a short bit he decided to break for lunch and as he made preparations he heard a rustling all around him and he knew too well this was no wild Pokemon. As without even looking up he called, "If you're hungry I only have enough for me and my Pokemon but you're still welcome to rest here for a while."
"We are he to steal your Pokemon not to spend time with it!" snapped a man in black with a red R on his chest as him and five similar men exited the bushes.
Not even looking up Foxx got a smile on his face and said, "It's not wise to threaten a Pokemon master you know." He slowly got up and brushed off the dust and added, "But if you really wish to loose epically then cast out your first Pokemon!"
The leader chuckled, "And what makes you think we play by the rules?" With that each Team Rocket Grunt throw two Pokeball into the air releasing three Rattas, two Sadshrews, two Ekans, two Koffings, and one Meowlth.
"This will be way to easy." mocked Foxx, "Vulpix! Fire Spin!"
In a second Vulpix created a barrier around them of solid fire which Team Rocket couldn't get to them trough. He was about to give Vulpix another command when he heard, "Butterfree! Stun Spore!"
Then without delay Foxx added, "Vulpix! Fire Ball attack!"
So from above Team Rocket was being hit with stun spore while Vulpix shot random fire balls at them from within the fire barrier which was slowly dropping. It wasn't long before Team Rocket was running away scared and Foxx went back to making lunch as if nothing had happened.
A young lad in a samurai uniform approached him with a Butterfree following close behind.
"Thanks for the help." said Foxx as the young man approached. "The name's Foxx and this is Joy. You and your Pokemon are more then welcome to join us if you wish."
"Thanks. You're from Pallet Town aren't you?" asked the man as he sat down besides Foxx.
