Chapter 156: New Pokemon
Axel was in deep thought. He knew that naturally formed resources are priced very high. But he never imagined that it would be so high. After making the pros and cons in his mind he decided to take the deal. What matters right now is his Pokemon. He could earn the money one way or the other. He also decided to think of a new business idea as he was running low on money now.
Axel wanted to first use 100 yr old ice and then 1000 yr old ice for Piloswine.
But first, he wanted Piloswine to learn 'Earthquake' from Nidorino and upgrade its body stats a bit. Axel had estimated it may take around a week to happen. But on the 3rd day, he got a notification.
[Ding! Piloswine has learned 'Earthquake'
Ding! 'Ice Shard' has leveled up to 10
Ding! 'Hail' has leveled up to 10
Ding! 'Icicle Crash' has leveled up to 10
Ding! 'Mist' has leveled up to 11

A lot of notifications blinded him. He had turned off the notification for a couple of days and this was the result. Other notifications of other Pokemons also came to his notice. Bulbasaur and Absol have improved a lot.
Today was the day the group would go outside to hunt and also change camp. They have the map, so they were partially safe. They would not venture into the areas where elemental or higher ranks lived. This trip had been quite an experience for them. Axel had also learned a lot about the wildlife of Pokemons.

When they were going through the forest…..
"God, these plants are so huge. I have got blisters and cuts all over my hands and feet." complained Lyra. The rest of them were also not unscathed. This was a huge island and now they were inside a deep forest. Since there was no human interference until now, the forest was difficult to walk without getting wounded.
While traveling through the forest, they came over many Pokemons. Most of them were uncommon rank. Hardly any of them were rare ranked Pokemon. But the uncommon ranked and rare ranked Pokemons never initiated any attacks. This was basically due to a lot of rare-ranked Pokemons in the group's arsenal.
All of them had at least 1 rare ranked Pokemon before the trip. Axel had 3 of them. Now 1 rare ranked Pokemon each had been added to the group. This created a massive number of 12 rare-ranked Pokemons in total.
All of these 12 rare ranked Pokemons were not outside but each of them had 2 rare ranked Pokemons outside for protection. Axel also had Shedinja hide in his shadows for extra protection. So, 11 rare ranked Pokemons were outside to protect the group. This was a massive number. So, any rare-ranked wild Pokemons would seldom initiate any attack.
While walking they came across a small lake. Many Pokemons were resting and drinking water from the lake. There were many types of Pokemon with ranks ranging from common to rare. The lake seemed to be like a safe zone for these Pokemons as none of the Pokemons were attacking each other. When the group entered the periphery of the lake, some of the Pokemons stared at them for some time but none of them gave any response and just started to mind their own business.
They felt safe here as none of the wild Pokemons did anything to them. Normally, a wild Pokemon would either run or attack them. But that doesn't seem to be the case here. All of them were surprised by this phenomenon. So, the group decided to relax near the lake for some time.
They also didn't want to fight any Pokemons here fearing that they would cause some massive problems. It was safe to not take any risk. After resting for an hour, the group decided to continue their journey. Just when they exited the periphery of the lake, Axel could sense a Pokemon following them slowly due to his Aura sense. Axel alerted the group and all of them got vigilant.
After walking for some time, the group turned their head where Axel had pointed and all of them could see the leaves and bushes move. Suddenly, a huge Pokemon came into view and it roared….
"BLAAASTOISEEE!!!!"
The Pokemon was naturally Blastoise.
This Blastoise was big compared to its normal counterpart. Its shell looked extra hard and its teeth were sharp. It was a rare-ranked Pokemon and a strong rare-ranked Pokemon, to say the least.
"It is challenging us. It wants to battle our Pokemon on 1vs1." said Lyra.
Everyone looked after her and she explained. "I grew up in Toise family with lots of Blastoise around me. I can tell what they want. Normally, Blastoise has a mild characteristics but it seems like the wild Blastoise was a bit different. I would like to fight and catch it if you guys don't mind." said Lyra.
Since she came from Toise family she was interested in this Pokemon. Others also didn't object including Axel. If Axel wanted a Blastoise he would train it from Squirtle. So, he didn't have any interest in it.
"Let's do it Machamp" said Lyra and all of them cleared a field for the battle. The rare ranked Pokemon of Lyra other than Poliwrath was Machamp. Though Machamp was not a water-type Pokemon but Toise family focused on defense rather than water and Machamp certainly qualified in that regard.
Lance came in between them to act as a referee and then said "Let the battle Begin!!!"
