Chapter 80: The victor has been decided
"Beedrill Acrobatics then electro web,"
Beedrill moves at high speeds around the field confusing Nidorina, then she swings down so fast an afterimage is left behind, then as Nidorina gets shot back Beedrill pulls out a web between her needles and shoots one out grabbing onto Nidorina so that Beedrill can pull her back in and slam her into a rock on the field, then releasing the electricity.
Nidorina was bulky but with the extra Leech seed chip, she was not doing so well but still got back up.
"Nidorina Thunderbolt,"
Nidorina used up as much energy as she could and shot out a bolt of electricity aiming at the flying bug, but Beedrill has had practice with this before, she retracted the webs and made makeshift lighting rods out of them completely dispersing the electricity.
Beedrill didn't wait for a command and just threw the supercharged webs back at the Poison type returning the electricity and ending with Nidorina with spirals in her eyes.
On the other side, Otoshi released his final Pokemon, a Doduo
"Doduo Quick Attack"
The bird was ringing at high speeds aiming at the fire dog and sending a tackle into him.
"Let's stop him from moving Fire Spin"
Growlithe shot out a circular stream of fire that surrounded the bird in a Tornado that didn't let it move around.
"Now Fire Fang,"
The fire dog's mouth got covered in orange flames and went in for a Bite at the left head, also pushing it into the fire inflicting Burn.
Meanwhile Green released her final Pokemon her Ivysaur, it also benefited from the sun from earlier but it would disperse in a moment so Green tried to take advantage.
Beedrill was making flips in the air dodging a barrage of Quick solar beams; she may resist them but it was still a base 120 with no drawbacks in sun, along with the boost from Ivysaur ability Chlorophyll.
"Poison web,"
Beedrill greeted a net of purple webs between her stingers and shot it at the grass frog, it did neutral damage but it also slowed Ivysaur down.
"Now Poison Jab,"
Ivysaur was still spamming solar beams but the sun was starting to fade, so Beedrill flew down still dodging any beam that tried to hit her, when she was 5 feet away Ivysaur shot the last beam which did hit her in the side but she worked through it and stabbed the grass frog.
"Ivysaur Synthesis then Fury Cutter,"
Ivysaur absorbed any sunlight that was left from the sun that disappeared and was healed, then used a vine to slash at the bee.
"X-Scissor,"
Beedrill took the weak slash then took her stingers and made an X with them and slashed into the frog.
On the other side, the fire spin ran out and Doduo was delivering a barrage of Kicks at the fire dog, though they were weaker than normal due to the burn.
"Now Drill Peck,"
Doduo's beaks glowed blue as both hit the fire dog.
"Get out of there with Flame Wheel,"
Growlithe, who was getting tired, curled into a wheel and hit the bird in the body, letting him bounce back to Gary's side.
"Let's end this with Thunder Fang,"
Growlithe's teeth glowed yellow as he made a bump at the bird aiming to bite and finish it off.
At the same time, Ivysaur continued to use Fury Cutter, eventually raising its power to 160.
"Beedrill Ice Web and end this with Cross Poison."
A light blue web shot out of Beedrill and captured up the Grass frog, then she pulled on the web bringing Ivysaur into the air and into her arms that were glowing Purple.
At the same time, Growlithe bit Doduo shocking it, and Beedrill slashed with a critical hit Cross poison, and due to Sniper, it did x2.25 damage instead of the normal x1.5.
Both Pokemon ended with spirals in their eyes and the announcer called it, "What an exciting battle all the trainers showed us, but with an outstanding double KO the Winners and your finalists are Ash and Gary."
The crowd cheers as he continued, "Don't celebrate too early because we aren't done because we will now start the final battle, both trainers can go get their Pokemon healed and then come back,"
Ash and Gary both gave their Pokemon to the nurse, got them healed up, and walked back on stage.
As they were walking Gary asked, "So you going to answer anything I asked,"
"I don't know what you mean,"
"Oh, I don't know why you have more than 6 Pokemon, or maybe how you have 2 of the 3 Kanto starters."
"I have a Bulbasaur Too," Ash said casualty.
"That doesn't make things better! Why do you have more than 6 on you?"
"I asked."
"Wha- and he just let you,"
"Yep"
"Well that answers one question, and that's probably all I'm getting from you isn't it."
"Aww seems like we are friends, and here I was worried my years of bullying you were for nothing."
Gary sighed as they separated and climbed onto the field.
The announcer stepped up, "It is time for the Finals to determine who is the champion of the S.S Anne tournament, we have the Prodigy Gary Oak, and the crowd favorite Ash, no last name given, you know the drill both contestants send out your Pokemon and begin."
Gary sent out Scyther and Ash sent out Machoke and the battle began.
"Scyther Swords dance then Slash"
"Power-up punch"
Scyther summoned swords to spin around it meanwhile Machoke rushed forward with both fists charging up with Red aura and sent a punch at Scyther, but Scyther countered with Slash both attacks blocking each other, Machoke still got the attack boost.
They continued colliding until Machoke got one hit and managed to knock Scyther back.
"Scyther Double team then Aerial Ace,"
Scyther created clones of it that surrounded Machoke, and then they all stretched their wings and swarmed around, each time one would fly down and attack, and each time he wasn't sure if it was a clone or the original, so Scyther got a hits on his back.
"Machoke focus and Brick Break"
Machoke looked around at the flying bugs and concentrated, then 4 Scythers dived down to hit him again, but Machoke found the real one and sent a chop directly into Scythers' stomach, knocking it down and dispersing the remaining clones.
Gary rased his arm and shouted, "Counter!"
Scyther claws glowed orange as he sent a slash at Machoke's legs, then it got up and made distance as Machoke struggled to get back up.
"Machoke Bullet Punch" Ash commanded
Machoke got back up and then disappeared, when he reappeared he was behind Scyther with his fists glowing sliver, he then sent a barrage of punches in quick succession slamming into Scyther, then the final hit sent Scyther flying back.
Gary blinked in surprise but sh shook his head, "Scyther get back up and Fury Cutter"
Scyther got back up after the barrage and rushed at Machoke, striking him with a series of swift and consecutive cuts each stronger than the last, but Machoke resisted it.
"Knock him back the Thunder Punch,"
Machoke uses his palms to slap into Scyther, then with his free hand his fists glowed yellow as he sent one punch into Scyther's stomach then the second one went across its face.
"Now let's finish this Cross Chop" Ash commanded
"Scyther X-Scissor" Gary did the same
Machoke and Scyther both got into an X position with their arms and they launched themselves at each other when they got to the other side Scyther was the first to fall, and Machoke barely stayed up.
Gary sighed and returned Scyther before pulling out his next Pokeball which wa hiss Growlithe.
Gary took the first move, "Growlithe Swagger"
Growlithe looked at Machoke and glowed red, making Machoke angry, but also confused.
He tried to get up to run forward but triped over a rock and fell on his head, knocking him out immediately.
'Ahh confusion always was annoying, especially in Nuzlockes,' Ash thought as he returned Machoke and released his next Pokemon, Poliwhirl.
Gary smiled th iking he had the advantage, "Growlithe Thunder Fang,"
Growlithe ran forward with his teeth glowing, aiming at the water type.
"Protect then Substitute."
Poliwhirl put up a barrier blocking the hit, then a Copy of Poliwhirl showed up and stood in front of Poliwhirl.
"Now Belly drum,"
Poliwhirl slammed into his stomach and cut his HP, but maximized his attack
"Wse Will-O-Wisp and aim for the one in the back!" Gary comanded
Growlithe shot flame balls at Poliwhirl, completely avoiding the Copy and surrounding and burning Poliwhirl who was hiding in the back.
But Ash just smiled, "Now Rest"
Poliwhirl, who depleted most of his HP, closed his eyes and started sleeping and fully healed himself and healed the Burn.
Gary frowned seeing his advantage was gone, "Growlithe use Flamethrower to destroy the clone,"
A stream of fire was released from the dog and hit the clone destroying it and leaving Poliwhirl defenseless.
"Now Wild Charge,"
Growlithe lifted his front legs, slammed them into the ground, and got enveloped in electricity to charge at the Sleeping frog and slammed into him sending him flying back and Growlithe got some recoil.
Poliwhirl finally woke up albeit very injured from the super-effective attack.
Ash rased his arm and aimed for the dog, "Now Strength,"
Poliwhirl delivered a single punch and that sent Growlithe flying away, but he was still up, but very hurt.
"Growlithe howl then Flare Blitz."
Growlithe howled into the air then got enveloped in flames getting ready to charge.
"Poliwhirl Double-Edge,"
Poliwhirl ran forward and charges with his body as well.
Both Pokemon ran toward each other and collide with each other in the middle creating an explosion from the Impact, and when the Smoke disperses Growlithe and Poliwhirl where both down.
Gary retured Growlithe and looked at Ash, "What do you say starters to end this?"
Ash returned Poliwhirl and nodded as he went into his bag, "Wake up lazy bones,"
Pikachu was groggy but Ash picked him up and threw him in the field, meanwhile, Gary sent out Wartortle.
"Pikachu Quick attack"
Pikachu stretched quickly then dashed forward at quick speeds hitting the turtle with early damage.
Gary didn't look bothered, "Aqua Ring then Shell smash,"
A ring of healing water Surrounded Wartortle, then a White energy surrounds his shell as it cracked off, razing his stats.
"Pikachu Iron Tail"
"Let's do the same"
Both Pikachu and Wartortle's tails glow silver as they collide with each other like swords, but Wartortle has the advantage because of the stat boosts.
"Water Spout"
Wartortle glowed fully blue then shot a strong stream of water at Pikachu sending him flying.
Ash looked at the flying mouse and yeled out, "Pikachu Trailblaze,"
Pikachu recovered in the air as his body turned green and moved in a zig-zag motion and slides at Wartortle getting in close, hitting him then increasing his speed.
"Now Thunder wave"
Pikachu sent a weak shock at the staggered Wartortle, paralyzing him.
"Gyro Ball"
"Electro Ball"
Wartortle tucked himself in his shell and started spinning at Pikachu, Pikachu made an Electro Ball and shot it, both collided and Wartortle was pushed back, the whole time getting slight healing.
"Aqua Jet."
Wartortle managed to get back up and shot himself at Pikachu with a tackle knocking him back.
"Now Ice beam,"
Since Pikachu was staggered back Wartortle took the chance to shoot a light blue beam of ice at the mouse which connected leaving his lower body visibly blue
Ash looked worried, "Thunderbolt then Iron Tail"
Pikachu shot out a bright beam of electricity that hit the Turtle shocking him and putting him on one Knee. Pikachu then ran forward with his tail glowing silver, Gary tried to tell him to dodge but the Paralysis activated and he got hit and Knocked back.
"Wartortle Hydro Pump,"
Wartortle charged up a Hydro Pump with everything he had, along with it being +2, it was shot aiming for Pikachu.
"Ride the wave Electro Ball,"
Pikachu ran forward and charged one more ball of electricity, then he jumped and used it to surf on the beam of water, when he got close he released it and it exploded point blank, and when it was over Wartortle was down.
The announcer called it there, "The victor has been decided, what an incredible final exchange, I was at the edge of my seat, but now I give you the winner and your champion Ash." the crowd erupted in cheers.
