3rd POV
"Who is Green? " Aya asked them wondering what they are talking about.
"Someone you don't want to know about, " Erika told her.
"That is making me more curious to know about her " Aya replied to Erika.
They are interrupted by the battle.
After an exchange of blows between Venonat and Charmeleon, Venonat started glowing surrounded by light covered around itself and it has further evolved into a Venomoth.
"It's not regular for a pokemon to evolve in a pokemon battle, that too is a gym battle. " Erika quoted.
"Venomoth use Toxic " Koga commanded Venomoth.
Venomoth has spread out toxic gas trying to poison Charmeleon very badly
"Charmeleon counter that using Fire spin " Kenta commanded Charmeleon.
Charmeleon tried to burn the toxic gas using flames from the fire spin....Fortunately for him, the gas molecules were evaporated from the flames Charmeleon has used.
"Good for you...But you can't pull it off much longer " Koga taunted Kenta.
"[Master, I am losing energy second by second]" Charmeleon replied to Kenta.
"Charmeleon, Defense is out of the question...Let's try out our offense...Activate your offense and spread out your whole flames with every percent of your effort...At most, we lose a match, but we will make our complete effort " Kenta said to Charmeleon who understood the meaning behind his words.
They will try wholeheartedly without the outcome of failure getting into their heads.
"Charmeleon Flame wheel " Kenta commanded Charmeleon.
Despite Flamethrower being a better alternative for Charmeleon to use due to his modest nature....The flame wheel is better due to Koga's Venomoth having higher special defense compared to defense. Plus this is a better alternative in a closed space like this gym due to the walls.
Kenta's idea is to spread flames all over the walls and closed places making Venomoth uncomfortable by spearing out flames.
In a pokemon battles, even a single detail can change the outcome...And one move is enough to turn the battle upside down. That's why people need to be extra careful when they are battling.
"Venomoth Dodge " Koga commanded Venomoth
Charmeleon targeted and moved towards Venomoth's direction and collided with it as Venomoth has little space to dodge in time. Venomoth has been hurt extra by the flames but the flame wheel is not enough to finish him.
"Venomoth compose yourself and use sludge bomb " Koga on the other hand tried to use offensive tactics, as well as toxic spikes, which are out of the question now.
"Charmeleon use fire spin " Kenta commanded Charmeleon.
Both of their attacks collided and collateral damage has been done to both of them.
Suddenly light started enveloping around the struggle charmeloen and it has transformed its whole body and it has finally evolved into a fine Charizard.
"[I have been changed...I feel completely new]" The newly evolved Charizard said
"Charizard try out a new move, use the brick break to break the walls and send it towards Koga's Venomoth" Kenta ordered Charizard.
"[I have been waiting for enough power, strength, and time to use this move...But now the time has come]" Charizard said with enough power after it has learned a new move from TM.
Kenta has been waiting for the right time to use it and has stored it for the final battle...But he has decided to let it out as he is no longer being defensive.
With a furious amount of strikes, Charizard has sent the broken bricks of the walls towards the Venomoth striking it with furious amount of bricks.
"[Oh my god! A fighting-type physical move is used as a special rock type move...What kind of sorcery is this?] " Pikachu on the other is finding out new loops.
Charizard on the other hand is going out berserk by breaking out all the walls and sending the bricks towards venomoth. Charizard is going against his natural calm nature to win this battle adamantly.
Venomoth on the other hand has tried to resist the blows to his body
"[Welp! Charizard has become the new Snorlax...I am getting nightmares for a few weeks] " Pikachu replied.
Finally, after dozens of bricks have hit the helpless Venomoth, Venomoth has fainted from the bricks after resisting too many blows.
"Kudos to you for showing your resistance to Charizard's rampage...I call this new move 'rage'. " Kenta replied.
"[Wait! was that 'rage' or 'Brick break'.]"Pikachu questioned.
"[It's a combination of both...First I used the brick break and used the power of the rage I have built until now. Rage activated instinctively and I activated Brick break manually]" Charizard said explaining to Pikachu.
"[That's too much detailed]" Pikachu commented.
Aya on the other is surprised to see the battle with a joyous look on Charizard strength on the battle and she has finally exclaimed composing herself from her brother's loss.
That might mean that Aya is still confident that her brother might still win this battle as he does always.
"Venomoth has fainted. Kenta is the winner of this round " Aya declared the verdict being the referee she is.
"Congratulations Kenta, Charizard. You both did well " Erika on the other hand has praised both of them.
"Thanks, but you didn't do anything," Kenta said with as usual a harsh tone.
"Hey...That is so cold and rude. Can't you even take compliments " Erika scolded him which he clearly ignored?
"[Why are we being purposively cold towards Erika. I think she is just being friendly]" Charizard questioned his mates.
"[We do because we get various funny expressions and reactions from her this way]" Pikachu replied.
"[It's because Fuck her]" Pidgeotto ended the debate in 4 sentences.
"[Forget my answer...Pidgeotto's answer is clearly the best one out...I lost to a simple pigeon, that's clearly depressing]" Pikachu said with a disappointed tone.
"[That's rich, coming from a mouse]" Pidgeotto replied back.
Koga on the other hand is frustrated by his loss, but he quickly composed his expression and gritted his teeth, and formed a small smile on his face
"You might have pulled it off...But the next battle will be despairful enough for you" Koga taunted Kenta.
"[Insert Random Junko Enoshima Meme]" Pikachu said the exact words.
"[You can't just say that. You should say the actual reference]" Pidgeotto replied to him.
"[I am too lazy to say it now...I have to battle with Koga's pokemon next]" Pikachu replied.
"Since the gym's setting is ruined. We will take our next battle in the open space outside the gym" Koga told Kenta.
"Arrive at there...And we will continue the battle...Be sure to enjoy the short victory you have until now " Koga told Kenta.
"Brother...That's just too mean, why are you being so persistent at beating him. Now you are just picking him up. Leave him alone, I forgave him a moment ago " Aya pleaded with her brother.
"Someone has to reduce his arrogance down...And he has not to beat me yet...Until then he is just an arrogant kid to me " Koga declared his verdict.
"Ignore him Kenta he is picking you up," Erika told Kenta trying to reassure him.
"I am doing it " Kenta replied to her.
"[I think our master Kenta is ignoring everyone else in the room]" Charizard replied to his mates.
"[Wait! Including us...I am deeply hurt by the coldness of our master]" Pikachu said while placing his hand in his heart.
"[Master is too cool for us]" Pidgeotto replied.
Everyone left towards the next round of the match. They have headed out towards the training grounds.
