Chapter 26: Mission Frenzy
Austin made it to the mission office and handed in both proof of completions.
"That's impressive young man for you first time doing missions. Did everything go ok?" Asked the worker.
Austin replied," The patrol mission wasn't an issue. No Pokémon were encountered. The birthday mission was pretty much a success. The only thing was an ekans appear but no one was hurt thanks to the trainers presents"
"I recorded down what you said and the money has been transferred to your account. Do you want help with anything else?" The worker said.
"Please deposit this hundred in my account thank you." Austin handed the worker the money who helped him finish the transaction.
Austin went to the training field called on eevee. He patted her head on a job well done and took out a lot of food. He then looked at eevee and said, "we are going to take a lot of D-ranks for the rest of the week. I also want to train you to use moves that are effective against ghost types. If we encounter a ghost type it will be difficult to fight against it.
Eevee and togepi ate and went to sleep while Austin was meditating. He did this hoping to understand aura. After an hour he opened his eye and shook his head. He then observed his hidden power and saw that nothing changed, but his body felt better than before.
Austin then went to sleep in the training field using a pillow against a tree. Togepi slept in the pouch and eevee slept on his chest.
Next day he woke up early made a meal for everyone and did a few rounds of trading with eevee. He recalled eevee and went to the computer room to check on missions. He decided to teach eevee bite, foresight, refresh. Refresh will give eevee a way to heal itself from poison, paralysis, burns. Foresight will allow it to hurt ghost preventing them from hiding.
He decided to do any available mission except the ones for the farm/agriculture districts. The mission over at those districts are too long and Pokemon appearance are almost constant. He wanted missions similar to yesterday's. He found only one mission in the morning and that was to guard district 9. In the afternoon he took a mission that starts at 3 and ends at 10. He then set out to complete his missions.
A week passed in a flash. Eevee learned bite, refresh, and foresight with a little difficulty. Austin also started it on learning Swift. Austin earned the nickname Mission Demon for doing 2 missions a day for 7 days. The missions mostly went smoothly. The one that gave him the most difficultly was when he fought a strong haunter.
Austin could only use his eevee's superior speed to his advantage and stall till the B-Rank leader came and killed it with his golbat. Austin then learned from the leader that Pokemon are separated into categories. The first is the low level Pokémon. His eevee was in this category as well as all D-rank trainers. The category is split depending on the base stats of the Pokemon.
Stats below fifty are rookie. Stats above fifty and up to 100 are mid-lvl. Stats above a hundred below 160 are high level. Stats above this are at known as elite lvl. The haunter they fought was a Mid level. This was something a standard C-class should be able to handle.
Austin made a lot of money so he bought the Pokédex. He found out that although they wrote classic Pokédex. This Pokédex is much more advanced than he thought. Not only did it have all known Pokemon from the seven generations. It also can determine for the trainer the general lvl of the wild Pokemon.
His last mission he encountered 2 rattata and checked them with his pokedex. The general info appeared and next to the name of the Pokemon, rookie was written. This meant he can avoid blindly running into a fight against a Pokemon who looks weak but has much higher stats than his eevee.
Austin decided to take a day off and relax before going on the farm guarding missions. Another thing worth mentioning was that many people want him for the mission as he is always alert. The leader from the party mission submit his deeds to the mission hall . This deed was then known by the higher ups in the league. Then it spread to the rest of the trainers. He was used as an example since then of how trainers should always be alert.
Austin rested for a day and slept in the dorms. He woke up and apologized to Phillip due to forgetting his promise to help him catch a Pokemon. He also was told the sad event that happen to Hugo, his zubat died in a mission. Throughout the conversation Austin merely nodded. He then left to buy good food and went to eat with his Pokemon in the training field. 'Oh and no Austin didn't forget to feed onix. ' Austin wondered why he thought of this phrase.

harem4life I got out another one guys hahaha. So I want to say something Austin will go to the farms so two chapters will describe about that area. Also eevee will soon start its iron tail training. Enjoy.
