Chapter 2: CHAPTER 1: NEW BEGIN
30 years after the appearance of the portals in around the world, 60% of the planet was conquered by the unknown entities forces, because of this reason that the remaining nation including the Federal Republic of West make an military alliance to combine they strength to eliminate the unknown forces and it's is called the United Nation Defense Force or UNDF for short, after the establishment of the UNDF they created an academy just like a military academy but unlike the military academy because while military academy produced military officer but this academy that are newly established by the UNDF has a only sole reason....to produce units that are specialized in eliminating this unknown entities with magical abilities and any magical related cases, the academy name is UNDF MAGICAL EXTERMINATION ACADEMY.
It's was August 10 2110 just 15 day away from the graduation rite's, Riley Wright is a graduating cadet in the UNDF MAGICAL EXTERMINATION ACADEMY and he nearly finish his studies in the academy for five long years, in those five years he endured the intensive academic examination and physical activities like combat training in the simulated combat training or one week force march that it makes 80% of the cadets to wash out in the first two years, Riley is ordering his food in the cafeteria.
Riley:"I want a grilled chicken with rice, one apple juice, and a vegetable salad"
Cashier:"one grilled chicken with rice,one apple juice and a vegetable salad is that correct?
Riley:"Yes it is"
Cashier:"That would be 10 dollars"
After paying for he's food, he search for available sets in the cafeteria and he lucky saw one so he walked into it then he sit down on it to have a lunch alone, after eating his lunch he go to the library because library is the only place where he can concentrate reading a book about the unknown forces that attacked Earth 30 years ago.
30 years ago the unknown entities forces called themself the IMPERIAL EXPEDITION FORCES, even though majority of it's weaponry are based in medieval ages and so as their tactics, yes they are weak that it can only be eliminated by a platoons size units of the Federal Republic of West Armed Force but there's a one factor...Magic, because of Magic they are able to withstand a bombardment of combined artillery and air strike on a single position and the firepower of it can destroyed a city or a continent with a right magic spell, but because of the establishment of UNDF and thanks to all efforts of the combine researchers from all over the world to develop several technologies from XCA 234 Anti Magical Assault Rifle's to the modified armor suit to withstand magical spells attacks to have a fighting chance and finally the outstanding tactical genius of the commanders to bring this war to a bloody stalemate.
Riley:"Guess I'm going to the classroom to wait for the next subject" he said after closing he's book.
It's was 4:30 PM in the afternoon and a trumpet sounded marking the end of the day so they left the classroom, some of them go to the academy plaza, some go to the library to read some books it really depends on the student but Riley put he's earphone and go to his dorm, while walking in the road towards his dorm he saw majority of the 5th year cadets just like him have having fun because 15 days from now is their graduation rite's so they spend their remaining times to bond each other.
Riley:"What should I do to spend my remaining times in this academy? since I have no friends it still boring as hell" he said to himself.
Then a girl is running and shouting behind him.
Girl:"RILEEEEY WRIGHT!"
As he turn back, he saw a beautiful girl.
Riley:"ohh..Andrea Torres"he said it with apathetic voice
Andrea Torres is a idol in the academy, she is beautiful, have a good body figure, always top 1 in academy examinations and sports and she is a classmate of Riley Wright.
Andrea:"How are you Riley" she said with a smiling face.
Riley:"I'm good as usual you?"
Andrea:"YUP IM TOTALLY GOOD!" with a happy expression.
Riley:"Do you have any business with me?" he said with his usual apathetic voice
Andrea:"I just thinking if you are a free..." she said it with a flustered look but suddenly..
Riley:"Not interested" then he puts his earphone in his ear again and leave.
And so after walking 5 minutes he finally reach the boys dorm for the 5th years cadet then he used the elevator to go to the 6 floor and finally arrived at his dorm.
