Chapter 2: PART TIME JOB FOR SARAH
"Come on, let's go to school, mother has already put burger nuggets in your bag," Sarah said while holding her son's hand.
she stepped and locked the door, then walked together with handsome and adorable little Justin,
"Morning, Sarah" greeted the next-door neighbors when they passed Mrs. Onew's house which was located a few houses from her residence.
"Morning madam, I heard you got a part-time job. May I ask for information from you about another part-time job" Sarah said
the old woman shook her head
"I haven't found any other work for you at the moment but if I do get one I will let you know," she said
Sarah smiled, and she then stepped back with Justin.
Then, Mrs. Onew remembered that there was a new job at a luxurious house not far from this location.
they had talked about it but Josh forbade Sarah to work part-time as a waitress.
even though their financial condition is very minimal.
josh only allowed Sarah to work as a shopkeeper.
Mrs. Onew ran a little after Sarah and made the woman stop.
"Wait a minute, Sarah," she called again
Sarah turned and smiled
"Have you told your husband about the job in the big house on flower street? It's a pretty good part-time job, I wish you'd say something about it" she said
Sarah smiled faintly, honestly, she needed the job..it's just that it would be a little difficult to ask permission from her husband who has a bad temper like Josh
"I'll try to persuade Josh first, actually he forbade me but the salary at the luxury house is quite large and I'm interested but I have to ask Josh's permission first, so he won't be angry," said Sarah
Mrs. Onew looked happy, she patted Sarah's shoulder and smiled broadly
"The salary in the big house is quite big, you only come at 10 am and go home at 2 pm, isn't that pretty good even you can pick up Justin first and you can bring your son to come with you "whispered Mrs. Onew as she stepped into her house and smiled broadly.
Sarah nodded, to be honest, she was very interested in the salary that the big house gave.. moreover the house was an empty house where the owner only occasionally came to visit
Sarah and Justin said goodbye, then walked back to their son's school which was not too far away.
"Mom, it's daddy" shouted Justin when he saw his father working in an apartment building, the warehouse section to be precise.
Justin ran to his father and laughed happily.
"Dad...mom brought you a lunch box," said the boy
Josh took a deep breath and turned to Sarah who smiled a little.
"Your food, you forgot to bring it," said Sarah
The man grabbed the food box and put it in a cleaner corner of the room.
Justin hugged Josh's waist and made him turn around
"Don't hug me, your clothes will get dirty" Josh said quietly
Justin laughed and continued to hug his father.
"Now go, it's almost noon..you'll be late for school," said the man
Justin let go of the hug and laughed at his father then nodded
"Remember father's message, don't approach strangers, this area is prone to kidnappings," he said
"Okay," said the handsome boy.
Sarah approached, she wanted to ask Josh about her job but it seems this is not the right time to talk.
She didn't want to make her husband angry, especially in front of many people.
"You've been staring at me constantly, is there anything you want to ask?" said the man curiously
Sarah nodded with a sigh
"Yes, but I'll tell you after you get home from work," Sarah said
"Okay, wait for me at home this afternoon" Josh replied and went back to work
Sarah stared at her husband's back, a temperamental man she had married
He is very handsome, it's just that the man can't express his feelings and seems rude.
Josh was born into a wealthy family, but when he was forced to marry Sarah, his entire family agreed to throw the man out on the street without a penny
They thought that Sarah was a useless girl, even when Josh married Sarah when she was 2 months pregnant.
of course, the marriage became a rejection of the large Anderson family which became one of the richest families in Canada.
But for some reason, Josh chose Sarah and was willing to leave his mother's luxurious house, and go as a poor person with Sarah
Sarah felt guilty for Josh because the marriage made Josh thrown away from his extended family.
Sarah thought of being able to reunite with their family at any cost.
Meanwhile, Josh is back at work.
he is very temperamental and has difficulty controlling his emotions, which is why Sarah becomes the center of josh's anger when he is upset
