Chapter 44: She's a Jealous Psychopath

The day went by until it finally came into an end. Aiden and Genesis had ordered take out and ate together silently in the office since they both discovered that neither had eaten lunch. Afterwards Aiden dropped Genesis off at her apartment and they bid goodbye.

Genesis slumped on her bed and sighed. Her thoughts traveled to the day she had just spent with Aiden. She patted her cheeks and sighed rather loudly. "Stop this madness already. Can't you just stop being all cozy with him Genesis? What's wrong with you!" She complained.

She groaned and walked into her study room to finish the plan that she would present tomorrow. She took the whole afternoon preparing for the plan she would prepare and did her own research. There is one person that is currently quite popular but Genesis was hesitating to hand the endorsement to her.

Although she doesn't necessarily like Kara she is one of the top models at the time. They were going to use the same models of the company but now that she will present this plan it could help them gain even more connections. Genesis rubbed her temple. She didn't want to let her personal feelings affect her profession but she just knew that if she let Kara get the endorsement things would go so wrong. In the end Genesis planned to leave the person who will receive the endorsement offer a secret.

"She will definitely use dirty means to get it so this is the right way to go," Genesis mumbled and finalized her plan. She did some editing to her presentation and made a copy of it. She printed one copy and saved the file on her computer. For extra measures, she saved the file again in a new flash drive and left it in her study room.

Once everything was done she went downstairs to cook her dinner. While she ate she thought about the person who would be receiving the endorsement and she smirked. Thinking of how Kara would be flaunting her name to everyone and claiming that she was chosen because of her close ties with Aiden.

After her dinner when Genesis was cleaning the kitchen her phone rang and the call was from her brother. She answered the call and Ethan informed her that he had landed and would inform her if anything happens. They talked for almost half an hour and then they bid goodbye. Genesis went back to her room and searched for the flash drive in her purse.

Once she found it she walked towards her study room and took out the laptop she had brought from her old office with her. Inside her study room, she put the laptop to charge and left it alone until it was ready for her to use.

Once it was on she inserted the flash drive and started going through everything with great interest.

"Ms.Jones unfortunately I was not able to find any information on Miss Smith." The man informed Kara. She glared at him and gritted her teeth. "You said you had already found a few things solved what happened to them?" She asked.

"After that day that you sent me to follow her somehow everything about her disappeared. " The man informed her patiently. "Ugh! Can't you do a simple task? What the hell do I pay you for? Get out!" She yelled. The man didn't bother to continue and immediately left the room.

"Kara, calm down. We will find something soon." Her manager handed her a water bottle and attempted to calm her down. Snatching the water bottle from her manager's hand she threw it across the room in anger. "Calm down? This is clearly his doing! Why would he defend a nobody like her?" She shouted. Her eyes filled with anger and her face had turned pink.

She placed her hands on her hips and walked around the room in circles, taking deep breaths. " Agh! It annoys me! Fiance? Haha fiance! How did she achieve that? I saved his grandfather's life and yet I didn't get to be his fiance! What the hell did that b-"

"Kara! Maintain your image!" Her manager interrupted her. Kara rolled her eyes and sat back down still fuming in anger. " For two years! I had never known she was his fiance…" She mumbled. "If I had known I would have made a move sooner." She continued in remorse. "She's literally a nobody. So what if she graduated from harvard? She's nobody to compete with me! She has no family background either. And she's an orphan! Can you believe that? An orphan!" She yelled again.

"Right, they are already engaged. Why are you chasing after a married man?" Her manager asked, already having enough of her tantrum. "They are NOT married. Sooner or later I will be his wife, not her. They are just engaged that doesn't mean that they are married it can be ended at any time. And so what if he's married. Divorce and remarriage is a thing!" She responded and glared at her manager.

Her manager froze in disbelief. She didn't believe that her model would be this obsessed. At first, she supported her because it would be more than great to have the Miller's on her side. Aiden is a big fish and if her model catches it everything would go smoothly for her career. But now seeing how obsessed Kara became she fell into denial and started regretting her decision.

Seeing the regret in her manager's eyes Kara sent her a deadly glare. She got up and held her neck. "Kara let go I can't breathe!" Her manager shouted. "Don't you dare back out on me. I can easily crush you and make you disappear from this world. You are just a manager with a poor family background. I have my family's back up. If you make one wrong move I will eliminate you." She warned. She let go of her neck and slammed the door closed.

She left the manager coughing on the ground with tears in her eyes and her nail marks on her neck. The manager gritted her teeth and clenched her fists. "Jealous women are dangerous but this one is a psychopath!" She murmured.
