Chapter 93: Activate Alert
"Get in the car, now!" Anton shouted, seeing Charley's hesitation, who didn't exactly know what was going on. Without thinking much, he decided to get into the car, fastened his seatbelt, and said, "The street where I live is called Burton, not far from here."
Anton didn't pay attention, quickly pressed a few things on the car screen, and precisely called the organization. "I'm Anton ShadowBane; I have a vampire case, and the category may reach special. I need the people in the houses around the county where my location will be evacuated."
"[Sir, do you need the elimination team to be sent?]"
Anton looked at the image in his hands and said, "There are probably more than fifty vampires. Send the elimination team as soon as possible and specify a complete evacuation."
"[The order has been sent; they will be at your location in four hours.]"
When Anton reported this case to the Association of Light, he accelerated at full speed and said, "Do you only know that vampire?"
"Yes, just him..." Charley nodded, totally scared.
"How long has he been living near your house?"
"Not long, no more than five months."
"In that case, there shouldn't be more than a hundred vampires in his house; that's good." Anton thought silently as he drove.
"Are you a hunter like in the movies?" Charley let his mind wander and asked Anton while watching him drive hastily.
Anton nodded and said, "I'm a kind of hunter. Now that you've been involved in this world, you must understand that this can't leak to anyone else. Now then, recall, how many people do you think would be affected if that vampire wanted to harm you?"
"He mentioned my mom and Amy..." Charley remembered the previous night when Jerry mentioned that his girlfriend and mother could be affected if he didn't take care of them properly.
In these cases, vampires or any other supernatural being would do anything to take revenge, and the first people they would kill would be the loved ones of the one who affected them in such a way that they couldn't have their pleasant life as before.
The immediate recommendation is to identify the people who could be affected and those involved in the same area. This would somehow draw the attention of the dark entity and make it easier for the Association of Light.
"Call both of them and tell them to see you at home as soon as possible. If, in the process of eliminating that vampire, he escapes for some reason that I hope doesn't happen, they will be the first ones the vampire will kill." Anton said, ignoring many traffic rules, and before the police saw him, he put a silent siren on his car and accelerated.
"Have you killed vampires before?" Charley looked at the calmness on Anton's face and couldn't help but ask.
Anton shook his head and said, "It's been a long time since I faced a dark entity of this nature, but you're lucky to have encountered the right people."
Maybe this was a coincidence, or indeed, the werewolf case he was investigating for some reason was actually a vampire entity, making it a special mission.
Once Anton arrived at Charley's house, he got out of the car and walked to the trunk, where there were several bags of iron powder. "You're going to help me set up a perimeter around the house with this material."
"What is it for?"
"A barrier against anything supernatural. It won't keep them inside for long, but it will give us time to evacuate the people nearby and prepare ourselves." Anton said as he broke a part of the bag and began to form a barrier around Jerry's house.
As it's daytime, even if Jerry could sense them, he wouldn't do anything stupid unless he wanted to die now.
The difference between vampires and werewolves is that vampires are not caught on camera, which means they are very difficult to find because they only act at night. To deal with them, many relationships with crimes are sought, and an exorcist is sent to investigate directly.
Anton had been sent for a case of serial murder; it was thought to be a werewolf, but it turned out to be a vampire, making it even more dangerous.
"Are you listening to me?" Anton stopped at Jerry's door and muttered, "I'm going to hunt you, so be prepared. I'm going to cut you into pieces, and I'll enjoy it a lot in the process."

Each of them had the task of evacuating people from this place with the excuse that toxic gases had been released, and they needed to evacuate before knowing where they came from.
