Chapter 2: Nelly Arrived Lately
It was half past six in the morning before the lesson starts. There were only twenty minutes before we have to get inside the class and prepare for ceremony in the Monday Morning.
I just got back from the toilet, washed my hands.
I threw a look around, I looked for Kevin and Fransisca. They should there in order to wait Nelly. I didn't have imagine of her, because I don't really know.
"Hey, Glow," Farrell voice heard, "what are you doing there?"
"I have been doing the same thing for six years, don't you know it?"
"Alright, just wanted to know."
"Oh yes, do you remember the Wednesday in the last week?"
"Wednesday? I don't really remember."
"Okay," I puffed, "do you know the secretary and treasurer?"
He laughed, "Surely I know them. In this case, are you looking for them?"
"Yes, I'm looking for the secretary."
He looked around for a while and step ahead every time he rotated.
"It seems she haven't arrived yet."
I puffed, "Yeah, nevermind if you see her. I only need to know her appearance."
"Her appearance, eh?"
"Yes, her hair and her tall."
He went silent for a while. I looked around making sure if Kevin or Fransisca there.
"Her hair colour is just as ours," he spoke out, "but it is a bit long but she binded them."
"How long?"
"Not so much, but the easier clue is her skin is brighter than most of us."
"Is she taller or shorter than me?"
"Even she is a bit shorter than myself," he added.
"Okay, thanks for the clue."
"You're welcome. I may will know the treasurer soon."
"Soon? I have talked to her," I uttered, "however, I will wander around."
Once I thanked Farrell, I walked around passing another pupils. Our bags already inside the classroom, we only need to wait the time.
I walked around and saw Fransisca talked with some female pupils. I couldn't see Kevin anywhere neat the scene.
I moved myself to the hall corridor and went through Brescia to the lower main gate. I stopped right there for a while.
Some minutes after, about six minutes, a female pupils appeared, her hair was as same as me and binded.
"Good morning," she greeted me.
"Good morning," I replied, "may I ask you something?"
She stopped, "Alright, go ahead."
"Do you see Nelly from 7B?"
She looked at me, "Do you have a business with her?"
"I'm looking for her," I explained, "she is secretary and I am the vice leader."
She puffed, "I don't see her."
"Oh, okay, thanks."
"But she is with me."
"She is with you? Wait, are you her?"
She laughed, "Yes, I'm Nelly."
"Huh, let's get to class, there is only ten minutes left."
"Okay, let's go."
We started walking through the corridor, trying to get to class quickly. But as we walked, steps sound heard.
I threw my eyes at it quickly.
"Wait, you forgot to bring this!" Kevin yelled.
"The class journal," I mouthed.
Nelly ran into him and grabbed the folder. She ran to class after got that folder.
"Did I suppose her to do it?
I looked at him," No, you didn't."
"Let's get back to class then."
We started walking to class quickly as it getting nearer to the school bell time.
When we arrived in front of the class, Nelly was there, talking with Fransisca. She wasn't with the folder or her bag.
"Let's talk to them," Kevin whispered.
I nodded and walked into them.
"Hello, Fransisca and Nelly," he greeted them.
"Hello there, have you added her to group?" Fransisca asked about Nelly.
"We don't have enough time now. We can add her later," I spoke out.
"Yes, everyone can add other in Line."
She puffed, "Okay Nelly, I will add you soon."
As we broke up, the school bell rang, meaning that we have to get into class.
I wished that today session wouldn't be boring.
