Chapter 15: Emperor Wang Song's Suggestion
Regarding the Eastern Continent, Emperor Sheng Ju Long wouldn't go there personally and could only hope that even one spy or an "envoy" would go back or if worse comes to worst, they would have to reach out to the other side.
The weirdest point was yet to be discussed: Why are the Powerhouses inside the Eastern Continent also silent?
However, the Sacrifice is another topic since it is inside the Western Continent! How can Emperor Sheng Ju Long not come personally?
While in thought, Emperor Wang Song spoke with a suggestive but unsure manner, "Why don't hire the [Assassin of Light], Asurii?"
Hearing this, everyone was stunned. They already thought of it but they knew it was impossible. They were only taken aback when Emperor Wang Song said it.
"Yes, I'm sure that taking the Demon Lord's head will literally only take the Assassin of Light a few seconds.", Sage Wen Kuo nodded his head but soon after rejected an emperor's suggestion, "But we do know that the Assassin of Light does not accept money anymore."
While Sage Wen Kuo stated the obvious, Emperor Wang Song didn't step back, "I know that the Assassin of Light will only accept payments that she only likes and after all these years she only took otherworldly items that would cost an entire kingdom to accept a job. However, many Kings lost their heads in one night after the Assassin of Light took the job."
Patriarch Lei was intrigued, for Emperor Wang Song to push this suggestion of his, he must have a proper payment, so Patriarch Lei asked, "Do you have such otherworldly items?"
With a solemn expression, Emperor Wang Song said without sarcasm, "I own many kingdoms in my continent. I doubt that none of them have anything like a royal family's inheritance."
"You plan to rob them?", Emperor Sheng Ju Long interrupted.
Emperor Wang Song shook his head, "Many powers are arising in my continent. Especially those who sprouted without any warning, making their way up at an enormous rate. If I let them continue, they may overwhelm other kingdoms and accelerate their power. In short, I have to suppress them by taking the thing that is making them powerful."
As another Ruler, Emperor Sheng Ju Long somewhat understood Emperor Wang Song's intention and deemed it as a correct choice. There is no way that sudden empowerment was without a reason and by taking that to give the Assassin of Light to take back the Eastern Continent. That is a big win!
However, Emperor Sheng Ju Long felt wrong about that, although he couldn't explain it to himself
"I approve of that.", Sage Wen Kuo seconded.
"I have nothing against that idea." Sage Xiang Ho lightly laughed and thought that it was a good idea, while Sage Tai Shi was expressionless. He already knew that his emperor would suggest this and had already approved of that suggested before.
Three Sages approving a decision. Nothing could stop Emperor Wang Song now. It would be a pity for those new families that was accelerating in power when Emperor Wang Song get back. Their seeming flux movement will come to stop as they hit an unbreakable wall.

Behind the tree, Lei Mu was like a fangirl to these Powerhouses. It was giving her great motivation to do something in euphoria right now.

Lei Mu's enthusiasm slowly deteriorated as she suppressed her feeling of wanting to do something dynamic. She excitedly sat there, doing nothing, for an hour. If that didn't exhaust her then nothing could. But after seeing her idols, her energy came filling her up, her pale face brightened up in a second.
Beside the Soulless Garden, where everyone was resting from exhaustion, a man who was sitting in front of a tree with his back hunched and arms crossed as he silently slept, slowly opened his eyes. He called in a low voice, "Mu..."
He blinked a few times before yawning and straightening his back as he stretches his body and looked around. Uncle Xiu only saw the Elders walking around giving energies to those who needed it but never caught the shadow of Lei Mu.
His tired eyes widened when he saw that Lei Mu was nowhere to be found, he abruptly stood up and ran towards Elder Ming the moment he saw him.
"Oh, Teacher Xiu, you're already awake? you should rest a little more." as if he did not see Uncle Xiu running worry, Elder Ming calmly said.
"Umm, Elder, do you know where Lei Mu went?", Uncle Xiu's face filled with sweat as he asked with a suppressed hastiness.
"Earlier, she asked me if she could meditate somewhere silent but I don't know where she is."
'WHAT???!!! You let her just like that?!', Uncle Xiu dejectedly thought, his worries shot up. But he still couldn't say it out loud.
Elder Ming wanted to laugh when he saw Uncle Xiu's face turned sour, "Don't worry about it, within 500 meters radius of the Soulless Garden, no monsters wander. I warned her to not go a hundred meters away. She's a smart girl, she knows what to do. She's trying to improve herself so how could I reject her?"
Elder Ming has yet to mention about the arrival of another five Powerhouses resulting in their absolute confidence but before he could do so, Uncle Xiu waved goodbye and ran away, wanting to find Lei Mu.
It couldn't be helped. The Elders participated in the battle as well. It would be no wonder if they sat there and regain their energy but instead, they chose to help those who exhausted their energy too much.
Uncle Xiu ran around shouting Lei Mu's name. As a cultivator at the 4th Step of the Earthly Realm, he immediately ran within a hundred radius around the Soulless Garden and there his worries disappeared as he saw Lei Mu leaning in front of the tree, meditating.
Uncle Xiu immediately shouted, "Lei Mu~!!", before Lei Mu could react, Uncle Xiu already appeared in front of her and hugged her. His tears were on the verge of exploding.
Lei Mu had a darkened face, "Uncle Xiu, why would you shout like that?!!!", she scoldingly whispered.
"Huh? What?", Uncle Xiu was stunned, he expected Lei Mu to lovably be shy but to scold him like this? Did I get the wrong person? Wait, but she called me Uncle Xiu.
Of course, Uncle Xiu didn't know that behind the trees, he disturbed the seven Powerhouses. Fortunately, the conversation between these Powerhouses ended as they came out of the trees and saw who shouted earlier.
'Eh?', Uncle Xiu became speechless.
At this moment, Emperor Sheng Ju Long stared at Lei Mu and was surprised to see that even though this little girl was clearly not meditating but for her energy to emulate meditation, is it possible that she was awake the whole time they were having a conversation between Powerhouses?
The others looked at Lei Mu with pity. They knew that Emperor Sheng Ju Long wouldn't let go of those who tricked him.
They didn't know that everything was just coincidence and Lei Mu had no intentions to trick them. Even Lei Mu herself didn't know that her energy emulates meditation. She thought that they just didn't notice her.
Before Emperor Sheng Ju Long takes action, Patriarch Yun stepped forward and placed his hand on top of Lei Mu's head before shaking his head.
This showed the disapproval of Patriarch Yun which stopped Emperor Sheng Ju Long.
"Don't worry, Patriarch Yun, I wouldn't silence a little girl.", although he didn't know why Patriarch Yun favored the child, Emperor Sheng Ju Long had to respect Patriarch Yun's disapproval.
Patriarch Lei wasn't expecting Patriarch Yun to step forward. He was shamed and disappointed to see such a talent be wasted and on top of that, it was the first time they saw someone emulate meditation with their energy alone. However, he knew that it was the little girl's fault for secretly listening to them. Although it greatly put the Powerhouses to shame for a little girl to deceive them, they don't want to see her end like that.
But now that Patriarch Yun stepped in, Patriarch Lei has the responsibility to punish this child if she really did have the intention to deceive them.
