Chapter 54: Joining Hands

Keith's lips quirked into a side smile before bending down to capture her lips. It did not last that long, he then released her to her dismay. 

"Naughty girl."

A knock on the door caught their attention, Katrina then came in. The woman wasn't even surprised upon seeing her inside Keith's office. She just threw her a glance before focusing on her brother. 

"Did she come here?" in a monotonous tone.

"Yes."

Katrina snorted and made a tch sound, "That fvcking bitch," she muttered. 

It made me blink. It was the first time that I ever saw her annoyed face. She then looked at me so suddenly that it almost made me take a step back.

"Let's talk," she said, then turned around to leave.

I glanced at Keith worriedly who was frowning as well. He was also curious as to why she had said that.

Did I do something? Is she mad at me?

"C'mon!" she yells after a minute of me not following her.
