It's come to my attention that a lot of you guys think that the cultivators in the Barren Lands are in Third Step, and Dao Yuan's slaves are also in Third Step, so I was a bit worried and confused because of some things that happen later on in the novel that says this is wrong (but I forgot, hence the confusion), and I went back to check the chapter where it is mentioned that these guys are in the Third Step, which is the 'Path of Cultivation', just in case I made a mistake in my translation.
