Chapter 70: 4.10 SANGUINE LOVE: Plague

"If Lord Cassander is as observant as he claims to be, he must have noticed that our Withermine suffers from a very particular plague," Lady Violetta speaks with that high-pitched voice of hers. 

Mo Yinan watches the situation quietly. He stands by Cassander's side but for the most part, he remains quiet. It's as though he's just a shadow standing there, unworthy of any notice but it suits him just fine. From his observation, he can tell that Cassander is impatient, from the tiny twitch upon his brow. 

"Lady Violetta," Cassander says slowly, "The sooner you cut to the chase, the sooner I can help you with whatever malaise that ails you. I'm going to assume that you had reason to mention nothing of it in your letter."
