Chapter 88: Chapter 88

When Stannis and his group arrive in Dragonstone, something changes in this place. It is more sunny and happy, unlike the last time he left this place.
People are happy and healthy.
When the people see him and his companion arrive in the city, they start to cheer.
"Lord Stannis!"
"Lord Stannis has returned!"
Never in his life did the people of Dragonstone cheer for his return, not even when they won the Greyjoy Rebellion. However, he arrives from King's Landing, and the people cheer for him like he has won a war. There is something wrong, Stannis decided.
He and his companion continue their journey to the castle and arrive after a few minutes of ride. When they arrive in front of the castle, they are greeted by Lady Selyse Baratheon. She is wearing a white robe and a scarlet trouser skirt. What she is wearing is what a Shinto Priestess or Miko wears.
Selyse decides to bug Jacob, asking him about the God he worships, and after three days of continuous questioning, Jacob decides to tell her about Shinto Religion. He already has a cleansing ritual; why not as well using them to make her leave him alone for a moment?
He is lucky that the Goblin bought thirty or so books about Shinto magic and ritual among the other books they bought for him. The ritual books also explain some of the roles of the ritual, which gods they ask for a blessing, and what kind of result it will be.
The end result is a budding religion that appears in Dragonstone that Lady Selyse leads. Seeing her as a new priestess of the Shinto Religion in this world, Jacob decides to make a uniform for her. So here she is, wearing her Miko Uniform.
"Selyse… Is that you?"
Stannis says in a low voice when he sees his wife's face. Gone is the sickly and thin-looking face and now replaced with a healthy and beautiful face. With constant treatment from Jacob, Selyse regains what should be her face.
Her face is not the best in the world, but she is beautiful. Combining it with her new figure from the result of constant healthy food and exercise over the past couple of months, her face gets even more beautiful.
"Of course, husband. Welcome back, my husband. Please, come inside your castle. The servant has prepared your food for you."
Stannis can only nod and walk inside his castle. Gone is the cold air of the castle and now replaced with a warm feeling that is so foreign to him, especially when it is almost winter. As he walks through the castle, he notices something. There are a lot of pieces of paper hanging around the castle.
"What is that? Why are there hanging papers in my castle?"
Selyse looks at the paper and smiles.
"Those are a charm. They prevent cold wind from getting into the castle and make the castle warm even in winter."
"How? There is no way a paper with a word can prevent a cold from getting inside."
Selyse looks at her husband and smiles brightly.
"It is because of God's blessing! That word is asking for Goddess Amaterasu's blessing."
"Gods? Goddess? Selyse… What have you been doing while I'm away?"
At his question, Selyse's smile gets even bigger.
"Let me tell you the Gods and Goddess, my husband."

I get up from the bed and do a small stretch. If not for Lizzy telling me that I cannot bring living beings with me for now, I would have bought some House Elf in the Harry Potter world. They would be great for me.
Oh well.
After stretching, I walk to the bathroom I made. Magic is truly wondrous. I can make a shower using one of the runes I bought from the Suikoden world. Water Rune used to generate water out of nothing, and Fire Rune to make it warm if I wanted to.
The water will disappear a minute after it is generated, but it is enough to make me clean. I can use a Water-Making spell from Harry Potter World if I need some water to drink.
I take a bath and clean myself before getting downstairs. I sigh a little at the mess I leave behind. Plants, animal parts, and other potion ingredients spread across the room. After getting my peace back, I experimented with all the plants in this forest and saw if they could be used as a potion ingredient.
Many plants in this world have the same name as the one in the Harry Potter world, but a few have a different name. I only need to search for them and establish a trading route for me to get them.
Money is not really a problem for me at the moment. Even when my money dries up, I can go to the nearby dungeon for even more money.
This place did not have many dungeons, only three. Not only that, they are also low-level dungeons. However, it should be enough to fill my inventory with enough money to buy a land or two.
I sigh and take out my wand. With a flick of my wand, the room starts to clean itself. Dirty dishes start to wash on their own, and the trash floats out of the house, packed nicely for me to burn later.
I blink for a second when I hear a commission outside. I slowly walk to the door and open it. When I open the door, I can see many people wearing armor and holding spears in their hands. I look at the two people riding a horse and notice Lady Selyse smiling at me.
That means the one holding her tightly must be her husband, Lord Stannis.
"Greeting, my lord, my lady"
Lord Stannis looks at me for a second and says.
"You should kneel."
I smile at him and say.
"I only kneel before a God and someone more powerful than me. I see none of it in front of me."
I can see many people scowl at my answer, and I decide to demonstrate my power a little. I activate my Cyclone Rune and wave it at the forest behind me. An invisible wind cut down at least a hundred trees in an instant.
"Like I said, I only kneel to God and someone more powerful than me. At the moment, I can kill every single one of you without moving from this place."
Fear. That is the only thing I can see from the soldiers, but what makes me interested is Lord Stannis. Instead of fear, he has curiosity, acknowledgment, and relief. I understand the first two but relief? Is something happening?
Stannis nods and says.
"Very well. I shall make an exception."
He gets off of his horse and helps Lady Selyse get down as well. After helping his wife, Stannis looks at me and says.
"I come here to thank you."
"Thank me for what, my lord?"
"Thank you for curing my daughter. Your service will not be forgotten."
I smile at him and say.
"You are welcome. Please get inside, I will prepare some tea for you and Lady Selyse. Ah, before that…"
I take a deep breath and use my Sun Rune. In a minute, the tree that was cut by my wind started to grow, and the tree that was not cut got even bigger. I will cut them later to make the other tree get sunlight. For now, I have a guest to serve.
