Chapter 75: Chamber (9)

After standing in a daze for a few more minutes, Frederick started to move and packed his things. Then he went to Lucia's parents to say his goodbyes.

They were shocked to see him politely bow, with a huge suitcase and other men of his packing his tools and materials, putting them all into his carriage.

"W - Why so sudden? What happened?" Lucia's mother was so shocked she had difficulty speaking.

"I'm sorry, but I let your daughter choose. Thank you for indulging my requests. Thanks to you both, I was able to create memorable memories with your daughter." Frederick still deeply bowed to them as he said these words.

"Right now, I'm left thinking maybe I should not have forced my feelings on her. Maybe things would not have come to this point." Frederick's voice became lower, as if he was murmuring these words to himself.

He immediately shook his head and smiled at Lucia's parents.

"Once again, thank you."
