"Shengsheng, listen to me! That woman seduced me! She keeps glancing at me. I was just seduced, I promise I won't do it again!"
The man knelt and hold her hands, begging.
The scene greeted Xi Sheng upon opening her eyes.
Her puzzled and confused expression was mistaken as heartbroken and forlorn so the man calms down while maintaining a sorry figure.
"Stop, stand up..." Xi Sheng bewildered.

Ji Hanzhi is a prideful and ambitious man. He lived his life in poverty until he attracted the attention of a woman three years older than him at his part-time job.
Meeting the woman changed his life. Although not rich, the woman supported Ji Hanzhi's education in the most prestigious school. In return, Ji Hanzhi promised her the word 'marriage.'

Xi Sheng received the memories.
She screamed at the System:[ Fuck! Both of these trajectories are bad! The only difference is that the original set her free, while the blacken trajectory plunged her in misery! Anyway, these are both bad bad bad bad!!!]
She held Ji Hanzhi's hand and sweetly said: "Let's go home?"
Ji Hanzhi stood up and hugged her: "Yes! I'm sorry, I promised I won't do it again!"
While saying so, he alternately thought that promises are meant to be broken.
Xi Sheng welcomingly accepted the hug, her smile vanished and was replaced by mocking demeanour. It quickly reverted when she faced Ji Hanzhi.
Before they left the restaurant, she glanced at the people looking at them. She also heard outrageous comments.
She tilted her head and coldly gazed at them. The people inside flinched and quickly minded their own business. As for the woman, Xi Sheng lightly bowed her. She immediately left and did not saw the astonished and grateful look of the woman.
"I-I will drive!" Ji Hanzhi shyly said. He thought that he should serve Xi Sheng for a while. Drown her in his attention to make her forget his previous blunder.
Sadly, Xi Sheng understood why he is acting like a boyfriend who thoroughly loves his 'girlfriend.'
She smiled and sat at the driver seat: "No need, Hanzhi. You can rest, you still have school tomorrow right?"
Ji Hanzhi clenched his hands but still gave Xi Sheng the keys.
While driving, silence ensured.
Ji Hanzhi actually wanted to brag the car that Xi Sheng bought for her and maybe pick up some ladies he can hook up with. Unfortunately, Xi Sheng came into the restaurant and saw him flirting with another woman.
He cannot let go of her so he quickly begs and shifted the blame to the woman. He was quite relieved that the woman did not butt in and he quickly tricked Xi Sheng.
'Shit, is this woman still angry?'
Ji Hanzhi became restless when Xi Sheng did not talk to him, usually, when she found out that he cheated on her, she will talk to him endlessly, while Ji Hanzhi only sat motionlessly, the problem will be solved while she's talking.
"I-I was wrong...I'm sorry... Shengsheng, please forgive me..."
He purposely bows his head to hide his vicious stare, his voice sounded pitiful.
[Woah. System, look at this. If I never knew that this man will be the Silver Screen Emperor, I will believe this scene of him sincerely apologising. The only problem is that he forgot that the side mirror reflected his true thoughts. Moreover, knowing that his sky-high pride won't allow himself to bow down, this performance of his is really good.]
"Hanzhi, don't worry about it. I'm just really stressed out these days due to work. I'm gonna drop you off in the apartment first."
[System? Why aren't you answering? Big Brother Eight, are you there?]
Xi Sheng's expression became solemn because of 008's unresponsiveness.
Ji Hanzhi was first shaken because he can't soothe her personally, but he also thought that it's better since he doesn't need to trouble himself. He hummed and already forgot his previous blunder.
Xi Sheng dropped him at the apartment complex that she rented for him. She gave him thousands of money.
"I might not come home tomorrow, here's your allowance. Buy shoes or clothes for yourself. Call me when there's a problem, okay?"
Ji Hanzhi's eyes shone when laid his sight on the money in his hands.
'I guess she really wasn't mad as I thought.'
"Take care Hanzhi," she sweetly said.
Xi Sheng kissed his forehead and went to the car.
"Goodbye."
Ji Hanzhi entered the apartments. Thoughts of how he will spend the money dominated his mind. He did not notice the mocking smile in Xi Sheng's face.
She mumbled: "That money, you will return that to me a million-fold."
She drove away and searched for a nearby hotel.
