RachelRuth ...am I back? *cough* It's actually weird not writing anything for this series in about six days or so. I was planning to return on the 10th of January, actually. And the funny thing was I was pretty nervous of writing again—will I be able to execute this chapter perfectly? Do I even know my characters? What if I'm doing everything wrong again? o.o
It's never going to be perfect, I know. So I'll push through this! I finally received some reviews that tackled on the less-stellar parts I do when writing, my tendency to use gender neutral/they them is quite a terrible habit to curb from—I uh, actually prefer myself as a 'they' but, of course the Author is separate from their Work. So it's not a valid excuse x.x but I'm working on it.
I still use 'they' to hide genders too, but apparently everyone already knew that the Demon Lord was a female right from the start so lol.
Grammar rules dictate 'they' and 'them' are for plural pronouns and not singular pronouns T^T It's going to be a hell editing all of that while fitting in time to make chapters.
I am trying to fit in reading the 'Elements of Style' too.
My break doesn't sound so relaxing with all these thoughts lol, but I am trying to exercise more instead of my sedentary lifestyle. 2021 and all that? Wrist exercises, wrist support gloves.
*inhales* Hmm, anything interesting else to say? Let's quit talking about me, how are you doing? Hope this 2021 is good... in spite of some things happening in the real world right now ^^; I'm not in US but oof.
