Chapter 1: Prologue
Everything has an end, and that philosophy would come about a new beginning born from the conclusion of events that happened in the past
Survival that word was the start of my journey throughout this hellish world, why did I desire to survive? What good would result from my choices to continue to suffer, continue to breathe, and continue to mourn those that have passed?
Why should I stand in a world that was created by the conflict that resulted in the destruction and recreation of the world? Why should I have to suffer from this fate, why should I listen to the cries of the world that I stand upon? Why am I given this kind of responsibility even though I didn't accept such a fate to be given to me?
Calamities, power-hungry individuals, events that would lead to the destruction of the world, why do I have to live in such a fleeting world? This forsaken land that was about to meet its maker, why do I have to struggle even though I didn't commit any wrongdoings
I've gotten tired of asking such meaningless questions about my predicament, instead of complaining I'll unravel the origin of this prophecized destruction. I'll make it so that I'll see it through to the end of my life, this sword that can alter the fate of everything. I'll make it so that I'll reach the day when I finally come to understand your purpose
In this fleeting world that encounters its end at any given moment, I'll survive this place. Along with the allies I've made in my journey I'll find it, this is just the beginning there will be many more tales to come. Some that we're forgotten as years goes by, a tale of the end that also sparks a beginning. This tale I called Ragnarok which depicts the end of the world, a place where most people are struggling only to survive
