Chapter 16: The Stone
The next day i was thinking about where to train when i remembered that training room on the seventh floor, and i spent the rest of the holiday searching for it while practicing with the mana.
The day before the term started again, Hermione came back. She didn't like the fact that we went two days in a row after curfew, and the fact that we couldn't find anything about Flamel.
When the term started i hadn't yet found out how the secret training room worked so i begun to let it go and search for a new place. Then it dawned on me.
Rainy-(of course... the Forbidden Forest. The headmaster told me that i didn't have anything there i should kill, but i can use the trees as training dolls and not worry about the noise if i'm enough into the forest...)
So i decided to use the forest as my new training place and started going a week later the term started.

I'm practicing with the mana flow through my rapier as Odin told me. He said that to create a new Special Skill, i had to use the exact amount of mana for the effect i'm imagining. So if i'm trying to create a thrust like the one on the limit break, technically i could... but the amount of mana probably surpasses my own.
Right now what i want is to create a Special Skill that allows to change the direction of the attack with a weak mana burst, so i can cut multiple times in a short amount of time. Right now i've learned the single hit option, but i want to create a multiple one. I thought i had it, but then i just kind of forget of how to do it.
Odin-(it's not going to work.)
Rainy-(what!? why?)
Odin-(when you create a strong and unique enough technique, it becomes a limit break. Probably now you have the thrust you did to me, and this Special Skill you wanted to create. That's why you can't do it anymore.)
Rainy-(i can create Limit Breaks???)
Odin-(more or less... it depends on your imagination, strength and weapon. You imagined the skill, had the strength enough to create a second Limit Break, and your weapon is of quality enough.)
Rainy-(how many can i have??)
Odin-(it depends on your fighting style but i would say a lot. Anyway the strongest SeeD i've seen had only four.)
Rainy-(cool!)
Odin has mentioned these SeeDs before but every time i ask him, he says that i have to see it by myself and that if i really want to know, i should create a magic to come back to our world...
So during this months i've become stronger. Not a lot but now i have 90 mana. I was surprised by the augment but Odin told me that is normal because i never tryed to use my mana directly, and that it would stop being this effective. Anyway, even if i have more mana, it didn't gave me more magic! And talking about magic, Odin told me that Esna! heals every status ailment. Which is pretty overpowered if you ask me. I'll use gladly those 40 mana for that...
Also as you know i have my first Special Skill. Double tap! It works by making a cut and when i have just cut the objective i make a mana explosion on the other side of the blade, propulsing it to cut again in the opposite direction. And i also created a weaker version of my first Limit Break i called Thrustara!. Of course it works exactly the same as double tap! But with the explosion just before the thrust, on the back of the handle. They both use 12 mana as it's the mana i used on the explosion. Odin also told me to name the Limit Breaks so i can choose which one use when the blue lightning appears, so i called the first one Thrustaja! And the second one Multiple Tap! So after the training i went to sleep.
The next day was a normal day at first, i was idling on the common room (i'm also a kid! I'll not be training or studying all day) while Ron was playing with Hermione a game of chess. Then Harry, with a really bad face appeared.
Rainy- hey! Has been the training really that bad?
Ron- wait a moment... i need to concen- what's the matter with you? You look terrible.
Harry- I've just been told that snape's the one refereeing the next Quidditch match... our match.
Ron- what!? don't play.
Rainy- hey! It's not that bad... i'm pretty sure he's there so that Quirrell don't try anything.
Hermione- i'm pretty sure that's the reason but... he's going to be really unfair against Gryffindor. Can't you complain?
Rainy- Harry complaining against Snape refereeing? That's a dead wish... he hates Harry enough right now.
Harry- Rainy is right... i can't back off and i can't complain...
Rainy- there's one thing you can do.
Harry- what!
Rainy- take the snitch on the first 5 minutes.
Harry-...
Ron-...
Hermione-...
Then Neville toppled into the common room with a leg-locker curse. Hermione did a pretty good countercurse and asked.
Hermione- what happened?
Neville- Malfoy... i met him outside the library. He said he'd been looking for someone to practice that on
Hermione- go to professor McGonagall! Report him!
Neville- I don't want more trouble...
Ron- you've got to stand up to him Neville! He's used to walking all over people, but that's no reason to lie down in front of him and make it easier!
Neville- there's no need to tell me that i'm not brave enough to be in Gryffindor. Malfoy has already told me that...
Rainy- really Ron, you should check what are you saying before you say it... and Neville, the sorting hat does not lie. If you are a Gryffindor and Malfoy is a Slytherin it's because you are braver than he'll ever be. Just remember the next time, that he's not the only wizard. you can hex him too.
Harry- yeah, you are worth twelve of Malfoy.
Neville- thanks guys... i think i'll go to bed. Bye.
Then he went to the boys room while Harry was eating a chocolate frog. Then 1 minute later...
Harry- i've found him!! i've found Flamel!
Just after that the three of them begun to talk about Flamel and Hermione brought a book where it said that Nicolas Flamel was the first one to ever create a Sorcerer's Stone.
Hermione- the dog must be guarding the Sorcerer's Stone. I bet Nicolas asked Dumbledore to keep it safe.
Rainy-(that stone looks pretty valuable and dangerous...)
I decided to look into what these 3 were going to do the rest of the year as it really looked like they were going into the trapdoor on the future.
And the next two weeks were pretty normal. I saw that Neville was a little braver (i guess that that talk had a good effect on him) and i saw that Harry wasn't really looking forward the match, he had a really bad face... but looked determined enough. And so the day of the match came.
