Chapter 43: The Gifts

Both King Duncan and the crown prince felt that they were slapped in the face. It seemed as if Marx was talking about them.

"Of course. Ibrahim is my son after all." The king finally said after a moment of awkward silence.

In the evening, Amaya was scheduled to have dinner with the crown prince's family. She planned to hand her gifts to her family members. She did not prepare gifts for the daughters of the concubines and Prince Ibarra's youngest son. But she remembered that Flint Stone made extra jewelry using the other designs she made. He also made two extra totem necklaces so Amaya can choose from them.

She also didn't have a gift for her grandmother. She looked at her closet and saw the beautiful fur coat that her father made for her 14th birthday. It was the last piece of cloth he made for her. She thought her grandma would be happy if she gave it o her.
