Chapter 21: chapter 21: Athena meets sarah

From now on, i will start posting 1 chapter per day. But i know the feeling of reading a fight scene then the chapter will suddenly end, and you need to wait for another day or week. So if i don't post a chapter, that means there will be a fight scene that could consist more than one chapter.
Chapter 20.1:
It's still dawn, and i am already waked up by kuruma. Today is the day that i will depart to the capital, so i asked him yesterday to wake me up early.
Yesterday when i entered the inn after the conversation that i had with barsa-san, i can't see sarah, and the one who served me food was cherry-san.
I asked her where's sarah but she told me that sarah was hiding because of embarrassment.
Why would she do that? It's not like the thing that barsa-san is saying is true.
Anyways, i told cherry-san to tell sarah that i am leaving early, so she doesn't need to cook for me.
After i finished eating my food yesterday, i directly go to bath and then go to my room to sleep. Unlike before, i don't need to wash my clothes anymore, it doesn't get dirty after all.
Uwau~uah! I'm still sleepy but i need to get going. I stand up from my bed and then used a little magic power to form my usual clothes.
「Let's go, kuroma」 me
Kuroma doesn't want to go back to my ring anymore, but well, maybe it's fine. The attention that he can get in this form is much lesser than in his original form, so i don't really mind it.
I opened the door of my room and descend the stairs.
Areh? It smells delicious, it's still dawn, don't tell me they really cook food this early in the morning.
When i arrived at the dinning ground, i saw sarah sitting at the table.
「Sarah!」 Me
「Eh? Kaito-san?」 Sarah
「Why are here so early in the morning? Are you really always this early?」 Me
「W-well, yeah. I am always early, but i woke up earlier than usual today.」 Sarah
「Why?」
I sit at the table that she is using, but she stands up.
「Anno ne, kaito-san. Anno ne, i-i heard from cherry-san that you are leaving early today. S-so...」 Sarah
「Well, yeah, is something wrong?」 Me
「Ah, N-no, S-she said that you are leaving early, s-so... I-i woke up early and cook a food for you.」 Sarah
「Eh? Why? I can just eat outside you know, it's still so early.」 Me
「I-i just want to. D-do you not like my food?」
「Of course i like it, it's so delicious. I'm even sad that i can't eat it for a few days.」 Me
When i said that, sarah smiles and then she run to the kitchen.
「Then wait for me there!」 Sarah
Why did she wake up early just for me?

「Kaito-san! Here, please eat this before you go.」 Sarah
Hmm, it smells delic... Ehhh??? Why is there so many??? Why is there ten plates of food here???

As usual, her food is really delicious. Everytime i praise her food, she always blushes.
After eating the food, i put the other food in my item box, and i stand up.

It's already morning. I wonder if athena had already wake up, she told me that we are going early in the morning. But can she really wake up on this time of the day? she's a noble, so she must be used to waking up on around 7am.

When i head to the door, someone called out to me, this voice is familiar, who is it?
When i looked back, i saw Silca-san and her party descending the stairs. Etto~,

「Same to you kaito-san, why are here so early? You are even with sarah-chan.」 Silca
Sarah blushes and looked down, she's embarrassed, why? She tried to speak, but she hold back.
「Oi! Silca! Don't be so dense, can't you see that they are dating.」 Stacia

「No! *Sigh*.... I accepted an escort request to the capital, and i'm leaving early. So sarah cooked something for me.」 Me
「Heeeh, is that so? So that's why you are late.」 Athena
「Athena?」 Me
「Good morning, kaito-sama.」 Athena

When they saw athena, they suddenly kneel to give respect.
「No, you can stand. There's no need to be formal to me」 Athena
After athena said that, all of them stands up. So they all know her, huh. I know she is the duke's dauggter, but i didn't think she would be this famous. I wonder why those bald sh*t head from the other day doesn't her.
「Athena, why are you here?」 Me
「I have been waiting for you, kaito-sama. But you didn't arrive, so i thought you are still sleeping. But it turns out that you are just eating.」 Athena
「Well, sorry, are you angry?」 Me
「Ofcourse no. I also want to see the inn where you are staying. I'm even happy because i learned something.」 Athena
Learned something?
「Like what?」 Me
She approached sarah and smiled, and look back at me.
「It's nothing.」 Athena
Then she looks back again at sarah and looks closer at her, and sarah backs off a little, then smiled. Then she returns to her original posture and greeted sarah.
「Nice to meet you, it looks like you already know me. May i please know your name?」 Athena
「I-i am Sarah Lanson」 sarah
I see, Her last name was Lanson, she just introduced her first name before, so i don't know her last name.
「I see. Sarah-san, thankyou so much for taking care of kaito-sama.」 Athena
After she said that, she gets closer to sarah and whisper something to her ears. Sarah blushed, and looks at me, then looks away again.
「So sarah-san please take care of me as well.」 Athena
What? What did she said to her? Sarah is blushing like a cherry, i hope it is not weird.
「Y-yes, Athena-sama, i mean, athena-san.」 Sarah
I see, she must have told her to call her "san" instead of "sama". I see, i see.
「Kaito-sama, i asked her if i can eat her food, so can we wait for a bit and go later?」 Athena
「Yeah, i got it.」 Me
Athena sits down and sarah goes to the kitchen, when gets back, she brought ten plates again and ask me to out the others on my item box.
Areh? Did she became friends with athena already? I'm now really wondering what athena tells her.
While athena starts eating, silca calls out to me.
「Kaito-san, is athena-sama the one you are going to escort today?」 Silca
「Yeah.」 Me
「As expected of you kaito-san, even the duke's daughter doesn't stand a chance.」 Stacia

「I wonder if i can become popular as well.」 Nick

Huh? Ahh, right. I totally forgot. I don't really think too much when giving money, so i didn't even try to remember it.

After our conversation, silca-san and the others sat on the table and are now having a conversation with each other.
When i look at athena, she has already finished eating. I called out to her and she stands up and gives her thanks to sarah.
「How is it?」 Me
「It's very delicious, i want to eat her cooking always.」 Athena
「I see, i'm glad to hear that. Anyway, it's already becoming late, so let's get going.」 Me
「Okay!」 Athena
She's smilling to her ears, she looks really excited. Ofcourse even me, i'm excited. This will be the first time that i will travel with kuroma after all.
「Sarah-san, we'll get going.」 Me
「Okay. Be careful, kaito-san.」 Sarah
After we go outside, i told kuroma to take his orginal form. Kuroma crouches, then i helped athena ride. Kuroma stands up again, then i ride on his back.
Athena is at the front, while i am at the back. And after i checked that everything is ready, i told kuroma to go.
「By the way athena, what did you whispered to sarah earlier? She is blushing so much.」 Me
「Fufufu, it's nothing. Just a girl's talk」 Athena
「I see.」 Me
I really don't want to fry deeoer so much if it's a girl's talk. They are like computers, so hard to understand. I wonder how they understand each other.
We are now outside the gate, with this we can now go faster.
「Kuroma, let's go!」 Me
Ne~igh!
If you are wondering why we are not flying, that's because there's still no proper seat, and there's nonplace we can step on our feet. Unlike if we are just running on the ground, we can just put our feet on kuroma's wings.
Kuroma stands up and then kicked the ground and started running fast. Based on my gaming experience on motorcycle racing game, we are running at 150 kph. I want to go faster, but i don't know if athena can take it. So i just hold myself back, and enjoyed the wind.
