Because I didn't want to waste some of the more precious material, I first did a test and made the first thing that came to mind, which ended up being a big metal studded club. Seeing that my test was successful, I formed the image of the Ogress and the armour I had in mind, then I just desired for it to be made with some Orichalcum.
I wanted to infuse some of my blood into the armour, but it didn't work through my inventory and only produced it in the desired form, in the original materials. So, holding my hand out, I made blood flood out and begin soaking into the armour.
Once done, I added some basic enchantments to strengthen her and protect her from magic. With the armour ready handed it to her and she took it with some interest. "There, put that on..."
While she just looked at me, I turned around and started looking around, feeling like something was missing. I spotted the metal club I made as a test and after thinking about it, I decided that I probably should give her a weapon.
So, I picked it up and was about to work on it, but from the corner of my eye, I saw the Ogress looking confused as she stared at the clothing/armour. I raise an eyebrow at her and asked. "What's the problem? Put it on."
She just looked at me with a sneer. "I don't know how the fuck to do that and I don't wanna anyways, so why should I."
Sighing, I put the club down and went over to the Ogress, beginning to help her get dressed. "You have to wear it, because you can't go walking around naked all the time. Now, pay attention, I won't do this again."
She grumble a bit, but she listened to what I said and watched as I helped her get dressed. Truthfully, the only reason I'm not doing this forcefully with Telekinesis, is because I know that I can't always treat her badly and can't be bothered to anyways, so I'll treat her nice enough, but be firm with her.
While I was helping her, I decided try making small talk. "So, do you have a name you would like to go by?" She shook her head, but I was expecting that to be the case and already thought of a name. "Then you will be called Aila from now on."
Aila nodded her head. She seemed weirdly calm, but I wasn't about to complain. When she was dressed, I went and picked the club up, quickly infused my blood into it and lightning Spirit Stones, along with enchantments to increase durability and lightning attacks. As for why I chose lightning, I just felt like it.
"We're done in here, come along." Handing the club over to Aila, I started making my way out of the blacksmiths. I took her straight outside and went over the huts, which is where I turned and looked at my subordinate to explain. "You will be in charge of the Hobgoblins from the cave. I want you to maintain order, so that I don't have to. Do well and I will reward you." I then released all the Hobgoblins and awakened them with magic.
Like a switch was flipped, the Hobgoblins all began opening their eyes and stood up. I released some of my aura to both, get their attention and show my power. "Listen up, I'm only saying this once. I shouldn't have to say this, but feel lucky that I'm leaving you any free will. Should you cause trouble, you will be punished. Should you prove yourself useful, I might reward you.
Now, go hunt some animals, but don't eat them. Come back and I will show you something useful."
I watched as the Hobgoblins scurried off, some slight confusion at the sudden changes, but subconsciously followed their orders.
"You can go as well, Aila, but don't go too far." Stretching my body, I turned and went inside the base to relax for awhile. Meanwhile, my subordinates barrelled their way into the forest.
It was about an hour later that they were all back and I went out to show them how to dismantle their prey and cook it. I only collected the pelts when they were done and mass produced some basic clothes for them all, before leaving them to eat.
If you're wondering where Sköll and his pack are... Well, they went out yesterday to gather more members and should be back in a few day.
Anyway, I spent the rest of the day and like I promised, I went spent plenty~ of time accompanying Emery.
Before going to sleep, I began thinking of whether I should do the whole mercenary squad thing. It seems like a waste of time, as I don't care about solving other people shit, nor do I care whether my name is well spread. Like, why should I care whether those insects know me, it's probably gonna be more interesting if they don't.
Though, by the looks of things, I might start an Empire. I can just leave whoever I want in charge and have them govern, but report to me occasionally. That way, I get to relax for the most part and have things come to me, when I want them.
As I began to fall asleep, I smiled while thinking of how much fun I have in store for me.
