Chapter 10: Chapter 10: Breakthrough
The Giantess lifts its hand and punches the ground, bending the earth around it and sending monsters around it flying back.
Zaine could feel the ground moving below him as he was pushed to the corner of the den.
The Giantess sets her gaze on Zaine, recognizing him as the one that summons the monsters and walks towards Zaine.
Zaine summons another Ent and commands it to restrain the Giant while he thinks of a way to stop the Giantess.
"Kyuu?" Albus pops his head out of the magic back, observing the situation before him, noticing the trouble that has befallen Zaine.
"Don't worry, Albus. I will figure out a way to defeat him." Zaine smiled.
Since born, Albus has always shown intelligence with the ability to sense emotions or the surroundings as a newborn. This time, it knows that Zaine is going to lose.
It flies out of the bag and stands in front of Zaine.
"Albus, stay back! It is dangerous!"
Zaine knew that he had to do something. He ran while trying to capture Albus, even if it meant getting hit.
Albus opened its mouth, and a light showed up from inside Albus' tiny body, shooting a ray of light towards the Giantess, piercing a hole straight in its body, dealing a fatal blow.
The Giantess got furious as she caused havoc on everything around it. Now it is only a matter of time before the Giantess dies.
With a final effort, the Giantess releases all of its power, controlling the ground in the den, making sharp rocks, and throwing them toward Zaine.
All of zaine's summon came running back, fully shielding Zaine with their bodies. One of the ends spread its body, making a net shape pattern, covering Zaine from the incoming attacks.
Zaine could feel the soul of the ent breaking as the net started to be torn from the sharp rocks it had defended against.
After a few crucial moments, the Giantes's movement slowed even more, finally breaking down and collapsing onto the ground.

Zaine checks Albus' condition, lifting it, checking around it for any cuts and bruises, and thanking it for helping him in the most crucial moment.
"Kyuu.. kyuu" Albus rubbed his skin with Zaine's face.
The Giantess left behind an artifact, the staff of Giants, Zaine held the edge of the dropped Giant Staff, and its large stature magically got smaller, adjusting it to Zaine's hand size.
Zaine checks the property of the Giant Staff, providing him with an abundance of extra mana, perfect for his summoner class.
While opening his status, Zaine also noticed the condition to advance his class is met at level 40.

Elemental Evoker: Enables the summoner to fuse summons with chosen elements.
Spectral Summoner: This enables the summoner to summon spectral types of the monsters of which the summoner have the soul, requiring 50% more mana and retaining 50% of the strength of the original monsters.
Zaine had seen this coming. He picked the spectral summoner as his advanced class, considering the limited amount of powerful monsters at his current disposal.
After the matter is resolved, Zaine exits the den, holding the staff in his hand. He summoned a spectral ent, commanding it to carry him back to the safe zone to accept the quest of defeating the orc lord.
"Hi, I am back. Can I get the quest for the orc lord?" Zaine greets Amy after just coming back.
"You should do it tomorrow, it is currently 4 pm, and nighttime will soon come. You must also be tired." Amy is concerned about Zaine's condition after seeing that he has been out all day.
"No... Amy, it is alright. I can still go. Besides, I think this will be a quick one!"
Amy thinks about Zaine's reckless action, but after looking at his resolved face, she decides to let him go.
"Fine, just be careful out there. Come back soon, alright."
He heads back out to seek the Orc Lord's domain.
The place was located in the middle of a desert. The place where sandstorms often occur and are harmful to humans and monsters alike. A place only fast-adapting monsters could live, like Orcs.
Zaine set out to the desert where the orc lord roams. He swiftly navigates the map, rushing to get the quest done.
Arriving at the edge of the desert, a sandstorm could be seen brewing on the horizon. He could sense the wind slowly getting stronger while taking the sand and making a whirlpool of wind and sand.
In the middle of the sandstorm, multiple figures can be seen standing inside, waiting for the storm to pass by.
Zaine, knowing that the storm was something he couldn't prevent, waited for the sandstorm to pass. He had a hunch of the figure inside of the storm, the orc lord and its underlings.
Zaine waited a few minutes, commanding his summons to try and slow the wind currents, to let the sandstorm go by faster. Moments passed, and the sandstorm lifted, revealing an Orc Lord there, just as he predicted.
