Chapter 1: Chapter 0: Current Life
8th December 2018, it was a very cloudy day. The sky looks as if it's about to cry at any moment. James is currently laying on his bed, trying to recall what happened to him yesterday. He is feeling dizzy from all the drinks & liquors. He tried to get up and look into the mirror, it was a sad-pathetic looking face. He is 26 years old at the moment but he looks like as if he's 40 years old.
He has it not easy for his childhood; broken family, economy, and his environment led him to the way he is right now. It's not clear since when did he start to drink as his way to be free from reality. It was his way to feel happy even though it only lasts for a brief moment.
As he tried to go to the bathroom, he fell and hit his head to the table. His head is bleeding, he tried to call for help but can't make a sound. As much as the blood flows, his consciousness is fading and he's out.

James opened his eyes, what he found is a dark room with only a big torch as the source of light. Surprisingly, he doesn't feel hurt on his head. He moved around but only see an endless darkness aside from the torch. He shouted for help but no one replied.
Approaching the torch was his only option, and as he gets closer to the torch, a figure is standing beside it. The figure isn't as scary as he imagined, he expected to see a minotaur (goat monster holding an axe) or even a grim reaper with a scythe, but what he found is a figure with a black cloak holding a book.
The figure suddenly speaks: "You're in the room of abyss, you'll be given a choice to rest eternally or given a chance to go back to the past".
James: I'd choose to go back to the past, who are you, what's going on and how does this work?
The figure: "You're not worthy to know the answers. You'll be sent to the past but there's no free meal in the world. There're some sacrifices that need to be made, you'll only realize what you sacrificed later, farewell".
After his last word, James lost his consciousness again.
