Chapter 323: Truth and Lies

It truly is odd, now that it has been brought to light. Lukas hates touching people because of his power, so it should be impossible! Although I get the feeling that he has been too close to me recently.

He rested his chin on his palm and quirked his brows again.

"So? How am I able to marry this 'special' adorable woman?"

I heard how he emphasized the word "special," as if he found this ridiculous.

"It's the fact that you could touch her, of course. She was an exception to the curse," I responded quickly.

Estelle was the only person he had no problem touching skin to skin with, without getting bombarded by negativity. That was why Lukas became interested in the existence of that petite woman.

It was the mystery, obviously. Estelle was an enigma.

"Is it because of her magic?" Lukas prodded some more.

"She doesn't wield magic," I muttered.
